I was born May 1, 1959, in Mt Clemons, Michigan. |
Myrtle Oliver Oberlin
On February 14 1998 I married Michael Smarr, my childhood sweetheart. He has been my soulmate and has been with me through the Great and the Hard times, ever by my side.
In Oct 2006 I was diagnosed with terminal Breast Cancer and told I had two years to live.
In 2007 my son got married, and they have given us two of the most precious granddaughters.
In 2010 my sister Carol Oberlin Fortin and I found we both enjoyed geneology, so we started putting our family up on Find A Grave.
Now my Granddaughters will have a permenant record of their family.
The Lord has truely Bessed Me. It is now June 2012, It has been a struggle but worth every minute.
As we travel we find and enter cemeteries, so if I have your family member, no matter how far up the tree, please ask for the memorial, and if its not our family I would be honored to transfer it to you.
May God Bless you, Janice
Janice Oberlin Smarr

Hi, I can't remember Ann's maiden name, but I'm looking. How are you related to them? They are my great-great-great grandparents, so I'm curious now!

I took the picture of the headstone of the Stowell plot. The birthdate for Mary is off by 2 years but it looks like the right grave.
|Sharon Shown||Thomas Franklin Bowman|
I have added a gravestone photo for Mr. Bowman to this memorial. This fellow was also in the same unit as my great-grandfather which I had a lot of the regiments photos
|Lee Shade||RE: Henry O Barton|
Oops! I must have been really tired when I uploaded that. Thanks for letting me know! I've moved it to the other memorial.
