I love family history. My Mom and Grandma got me interested at a young age. We worked on our history together for years. Now I'm telling my grandchildren family stories. And the research goes on and the stories are never ending.|
If I've established a memorial page for anyone other than my own family I will be happy to transfer the page to a family member. Just let me know.

Thanks for posting the obituary. My reason for doing this is that I am researching a quilt for the International Quilt Study Center and Museum in Lincoln, NE. The quilt had a little paper attached when it came into the collection that said it was made by Mrs. Matilda B Houk in 1901 and was a Grand Prize. I have been trying to find a living ancestor of hers to see if I'm on the right track and that this Matilda Bukey Houk was a quilter. Are you related to Pearl?? And or to Matilda B Houk??? If so, I would love to correspond with you.

Thank you for the information, and I would be happy to add his Mother's obit if you would care to send it.

I just read your email message regarding Edmonia's death certificate. There will not be one. Ohio did not start state records of deaths until December 16 1908
