|Nancy McEvoy||RE: Nancy Simpson Headstone Photo|
Hi Vickie--Albert Lewis Simpson was actually Nancy Metzgar Simpson's son. So, you can see--more discrepancies. Another son of William and Nancy Simpson is also buried in Riverside (at least according to his death certificate. That would be James Joseph Simpson (1856-1909). Anyway, this is probably way more information than you want to know; but again, I appreciate the photo of Nancy B's headstone. One of these days I'd really love to visit Riverside Cemetery in person.

Thanks so much for taking the time to photograph this headstone for me. Nancy Simpson was my great-great grandmother, and there are lots of questions about her. I've found her name as Nancy Jane and also as Nancy B. Her birth year vacillates between 1832 and 1834 on various records; and her death date goes back and forth between April 4 and April 7, 1915. I am sure, though, that this is the correct headstone; and I very much appreciate your contribution of the photo. Thanks again.
Hello Vickie, Nice to meet you!Thank you for the photos you put up! A little better close up view!
I knew Rose she was considered my step Grandma! She was Irish!! She had the most beautiful red long long hair that I have ever seen and when she got old she cut her hair and I have the pony tail! Thanks a million For everything and sending more info!

I'm in Tulsa so I was very glad to see that their headstone photos were taken. Orville Wooster is my gr-gr-uncle, his 1/2 brother William Gleason is my gr-grandfather. I have a family history book that was published in 1972 that has the family history of Orville and his children and grandchildren in it. Herschell and Alphretta (how it's spelled in the book) are in it along with their children, Sally Lou and Jacquelyn.
