Bio and Links
I am currently working with the families buried at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. This community was settled in the 1830s by families mostly from Edgefield District, SC.

Also, I am typing obituaries from older newspapers and sending them to Find A Grave Memorial Managers. If you receive one from me, please consider posting information from the obituary, or at the very least, using the information to add family links where needed.

Centuries Memorial Park, Shreveport LA: I am entering information from a survey done in the late 1990s. If you believe someone might be buried here, email me and I will check the complete transcription to see if the person is listed.

Information, including obituaries, are welcome. Please use the edit feature in Find A Grave to request additions/corrections to existing memorials.

Transfer requests from family members will be honored if I am not working on that family; please include the name and memorial number with your request.

Huh? D. G. and Mary (Williams) Harrington, the former of whom was summoned to the life eternal in the year 1902, and the latter of whom is now living it Carterville. Missouri. The father was a native of Tennessee, his birth having occurred in 1851. and he was engaged in the farming business during the greater portion of his active career, Mrs. Harrington was born and reared at Doniphan, Missouri, and she has now attained the age of sixty years. Of the five children born to Mr. and Mrs. Harrington, the subject of this review was the first in order. [History of Jasper county and its people by Joel Thomas Livingston; Public Domain]

You have the wrong Harrington.
Born at Doniphan, Missouri, on the 7th day of September, 1875, R. E. Herrington is the son of D. G. and Mary (Williams) Harrington, the former of whom was summoned to the life eternal in the year 1902, and the latter of whom is now living it Carterville. Missouri. The father was a native of Tennessee, his birth having occurred in 1851 and he was engaged in the farming business during the greater portion of his active career. Mrs. Harrington was born and reared at Doniphan, Missouri and she has now attained the age of sixty years. Of the five children born to Mr. and Mrs. Harrington, the subject of this review was the first in order of birth, and of the number all are living at the present time, in 1911.

Hi, Sue! Thank you so much for offering me the management of Norm Bale's memorial. He and his wife, Sue, were friends of my family from the early 50s and we love them so much. I would love to have his memorial. That offer is very gracious of you. Linda

RE: Recent Edits
I was hoping you would not mind. My subscriptions to genealogy sites appears to be paying off. :)
