Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Antonio. Born in my father's hometown of El Paso, Texas. My childhood was mostly in my stepfather's hometown of Truchas, NM. Later moved back to Mom's hometown of Espaņola, NM where I eventually graduated High School and then left to the Air Force. I've done some traveling, but home is Home. I began actively researching my genealogy around 2001, although it was always an interest since childhood. I've researched other family genealogies too. I frequent cemeteries looking for data. I appreciate the connection felt from seeing the final resting places of family members and connecting others to the same experience. I've come across unidentified graves due to time and erosion. So, in addition to identifiable graves, I've tried to include damaged graves with the slightest of information. I hope anyone with additional information for these graves would please share that information and save these graves from becoming lost graves. It's my ambition to try and preserve the identities of all graves I come across. On memorials I manage, I try to research what I can to not only preserve their identity, but their legacy as well. I also attempt genealogical connections when available, particularly in my own community area.

My copyright protected photos are free for viewing, but not for dissemenating. Any competent attorney will confirm that they do not fall under "Public Domain". If there is a use for my photo, it is courteous to at least request permission before hijacking and plagerizing the photo. Depending on the project, I may be accomadating. But I absolutely decline permission for paid membership sites. I don't believe in my photos being used to enhance profits. Thank you to all those who have extended me the courtesy of requesting permission.

I'm as fallable as the next person, so I do welcome any and all corrections and collaborations. I do endeavor to respect the wishes of survivors of the deceased. Basic communication generally resolves many issues. May all our lives be fulfilling before the grave finds us.

Sorry, Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery hostile to Find A Grave and staff have refused to give me any grave locations whatsoever. The cemetery is too large to find a grave without at least a section.

I have attached photos for the memorials you have requested. They are in Section SJ, Block 9, Lot 27. There were several other Velasquez/Martinez in the adjacent lots. I have added them incase they are also related.
