The earth will never be the same again. Rock, water, tree, iron share this grief As distant stars participate in pain. A candle snuffed, a falling star or leaf, A dolphin death, O this particular loss Is Heaven-mourned; for if no angel cried, If this small one was tossed away as dross, The very galaxies then would have lied. How shall we sing our love's song now In this strange land where all are born to die? Each tree and leaf and star show how The universe is part of this one cry, That every life is noted and cherished, And nothing loved is ever lost or perished.
Ellie C Johnson Davis Well hi cousin. I thought we were related. She is my Great Grandmother Find A Grave Memorial# 19211652 Her full maiden name is Ellie Cothran Johnson. I have pic of her. E mail me.
Do you have, or have access to, a cemetery census for the Zoar UM Church Cemetery? The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to locate the burial place of a 3rd great uncle. I was able to get a copy of his obit (he died in Greer in 1910) and per the obit his funeral services were held at the Zoar Methodist Church. If you do have such access, can you tell me if there are any Robinsons buried in this cemetery? That was the surname used in the obit, but the surname is aka Robison, Robeson, Roberson, etc. This makes research for this family very difficult.
Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
Find A Grave Memorial# 19215521 I have a letter from a soldier serving with uncle James in Northern Irdeland. According to the letter to my aunt Nellie Wilkerson her brother my uncle James died and was burried in Belfast. A marker was placed in the family plot at Zoar United Methodist Church. Please check your source for his place of death. If you have no source then please change your note in his memorial. I will be happy to share two letters I have on the cause of death with you. Thanks,
Rev E Dill I saw that with Rev E Dill you had his death date as 1886. Do you know where you got that from? I found something that had him dying 1866 and I'm trying to find out where the difference comes from. Thanks for any help that you can give me.
RE: Harlem Memorial Cemetery Monica, I am interested in the Ft Gordon requests. Will look into it. I rarely get requests since Ancestry took over and I don't remember to check. If you get anymore, please forward to me. Have a pleasant day. Ann
