|Marsha Allen Durrance||RE: re: Leonard Allen|
No, He is buried in the Allen Family plot at Big Ochlocknee. I'm not sure why Sabie didn't want to be buried with him or her family buried her there? I just attended the Allen family reunion and family there that knew Leonard's son Randolph that just passed away also confirmed that Leonard is buried there.

All of this is new to me so I am sort of in the dark about what to do. I have no knowledge of the Partee in Cairo so I do not think I could add anything to it. If you like, though, I do have connections with quite a few in the Fredonia Church Cemetery but I am not sure which ones you have.

Thank you so much for the transfer of Julia and Timothy. I appreciate it very much. I plan a trip to Rose Hill soon to photograph this family and some Andrews that are there as well. Please do look and see if we are researching some of the same lines. I would love to share research with you!! Thank you again for all of your hard work!

I'm not related to the Dunlaps it's the Hooks family. But anyway, just wrote to let you know I took off the church picture but for as the sign ..... is not my doings. I kinda like being able when I look at a memorial to see what the church looks like or the area my relative is laid to rest in for identification purposes. You'll have to get with the other person for the sign picture.

Thank you for the tips, Winette. I mistakenly thought that you were concentrating on the wife that died in 1904 because of the dates rather than the one that died in 1852. I will create a memorial for Melissa. Are you a descendant of her family? I will be happy to transfer if so. Julia Ann Taylor Tooke Mason is the sister of our ggreatgrandfather,James Nicholas Taylor and the daughter of James Morton Taylor and Mary Tooke Taylor. There are a LOT of Tookes in that family.

Because I'm new to this, I'd rather you keep it for now.
I don't know about Alice. She was his second wife, and I only met her once. They lived in Georgia when he died.

Thank you Winnette, I've been trying to link the Bass children to their parents. My mother was Helen Bass Rogers. She was the daughter of Wade Hampton and Frances (Fannie) BASS. I'm a descended from both of Needham Bass through both his wives, and Joseph Everett Bass Jr. I'm trying to tie in all the children with their parents. I just finished my mothers siblings except for one sister who moved away and has not been heard of since the 60's.
