I am a southern girl (and being 65, I use the term loosely!) who has been at this genealogy thing for many years. I love cemeteries and find them as beautiful as any park with the added bonus of beautiful markers and a 1000 stories. So naturally I love this site! I live in Savannah, Georgia so I have a lot to explore.|
I am excited to add new photos and search the site for "missing" family members!! Candace S
Family names..Morgan, Thompson, Shiver, Fulghum, Jeffers, Elder, Belford, Winterbotham, Coss to name a few......

|JoAnn HAGANS Harris||Infant Son 161007225|
How did you determine the last name of this infant?
There are 2 infants in Lot 71?
1. Infant Son Died Sept. 25, 1931
2. Infant McQuillan Died March 24, 1980
With 1, there is no date of birth and the same applies to Infant 2, so this is telling me that there should be no date dob's, right? I just wanted to get it straight in my head so that in the future there would be no confusion to others.

I need help finding the following Sisters and if you can help, that would be great. I have found a few but these elude me.
1. MARIE DeST. EPHREM, SISTER
2. JEANNE DeSTE AGNES, SISTER
3. VERONIQUE MARIE, SISTER
4. HERMINIE du SACRE COEUR, SISTER

I went back and put the dod as it is listed in my book. Please take another look and see if I got things right. There is another Bridget Goodwin and am thinking of contacting the contributor and go from there. I woulu like your opinion first.

If you don't mind and at your convenience, please transfer the photos from 144295769 to 75496533. Let me know so I can delete my duplicate.
|JoAnn HAGANS Harris||RE: Noon|
I have asked the person to transfer Michael to me.
Here is the breakdown:
You entered these:
William Henry Rogerson, Sr., Margaret Valentine Lynch Rogerson, William Henry Rogerson, Jr., and Edward Vance Rogerson. They are all in Vol II, Magnolia Section, Lot 127, Page 33.
Mary Lynch, Thomas Noon, James Noon, and Patrick A. Noon. These are in the same lot, etc. as yours but they have no markers.
Michael Noon 154683772
Info tells that there is no designated lot for him. He died Oct. 28, 1876, and at passing, he was 50 years of age. He is a native of Ireland, and his residence in Savannah was on Baby Lane. It says that he is in the Workingmen's Association Lot. As of now, I don't know where that is located in the cemetery and will put that one on my to do list.
Hope I haven't confused you, I just decided to give you the whole ball of wax at one time.

According to these records he is in the lot with his: father Dennis 105241506 & mother Ann 105241506 as well as 14 others. I will list the others with only his entry.
Does this help?
|JoAnn HAGANS Harris||RE: accidental duplicate|
That will be fine.
|JoAnn HAGANS Harris||Wilhelmina B. Chisholm|
I made a boo boo on her.
By accident in her edit tab, I put the rest of the inscription "WIFE & MOTHER" and it erased your contribution. Please put yours back in. Please accept my apology.

It is the same person. Thanks, Janine
|Kathy G.||Elizabeth Brooks|
Hi Candace. Are you any relation to the Brooks Family? I am curious as to who her husband was. She died in Clay county, KS where my great grandmother Elizabeth Lamkin Brooks also died so I am trying to find if their is a connection. I will sent you a copy of Elizabeth's obituary that you can copy and paste to her bio. It says that she was taken back to IL to be buried by her husband and two children but none of them are listed on Find A Grave as of yet. Would love to hear from you.
