Carpenter and Brickey
Hi, yes the Carpenter's are part of the Brickey family by marriage. It is my same Brickey line but way back, and my own line doesn't intersect with the Carpenters except thru the Brickey's. A long time ago, I believe Raymond L. Brickey wrote his book, and included some of the Carpenter history, and Compton as well. I believe he told the story of how John Compton Brickey married the two sisters and who their parents were. And I think where some were buried. I would have to go back and look to see.

Yes, they are relation. My husband was a Harmon and his grandmother a Vance (who was also descended from Harmon). Would love to make a connection!
