Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am diligently working on family geneaology for my side of the family and my husbands. My husband is a direct descendant of John Alden/Pricilla Mullins. He also has ancestors from all three ships including the Mayflower. He is related to Presidents, Kings, Queens, Vikings, Rulers and so on. Fascinating to work on. My side is boring in comparison. Mom is first generation in US from Bavaria. Dad is Third generation from Switzerland, but mainly Scotland.
My husand and I were betrothed from birth (that's what our Parents say). Our Dads(my Dad was a Marine in WWII) were in the military together. We didn't get along (very competitive) until after college and into our careers.
We have three terrific sons. We are always at some sporting event: water polo, swimming, volleyball or basketball. I am an RN-work at Stanford. Jeff, my husband is graphic artist who works in screen printing. We have a very blessed life. Both born and raised in San Jose, CA. We have our Parents and brothers close by, the furthest being my older brother in San Diego.
My Mom and I have always liked to walk around cemeteries. We always feel there are so many wonderful stories out there.
Families can be together forever.

Edith's mother was Anna Dixon nee Wehner.
Anna was sister to William Wehner (1847-1928)
I am William Wehner's biographer.
I am writing the first book from the American point of view about 19th century rotunda panoramas. These were the biggest paintings in the world, 50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons. Chicago in 1893 had 6 panorama companies and 6 panorama rotundas.(PRE-CINEMA) From 1885-88 William Wehner's panorama studio in downtown Milwaukee produced 2 units of BATTLE OF ATLANTA, 2 units of BATTLE OF MISSIONARY RIDGE & LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN,and 3 units of JERUSALEM ON THE DAY OF THE CRUCIFIXION. My great aunt, Mathilde Georgine Schley(1864-1941) was an artist-model in the Wehner studio. I am seeking a WEHNER FAMILY HISTORIAN with whom to correspond. On September 18,2003 I found in the display case of Milwaukee County Historical Society the F.W.Heine diaries 1879-1921. These highly illustrated diaries are the only narrative of a panorama company, that of William Wehner. The diaries needed to be transcribed in German, translated to English, scanned to computer. Michael Kutzer, born 1942 in Leipzig like Heine, is transcribing the Heine diaries. The Bradley Foundation of Milwaukee provided a generous initial grant for the diaries to be transcribed in German. Also, the 300+ glass plate negative archive of panoramist Bernhard Schneider (1843-1907) was discovered in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. This photo archive documents the Wehner Panorama Company.MUCH INFO TO SHARE.

RE: Ann V Dallas
Hi Tricia,

I do have some information about Ann and her husband James Melvin Peet which I'll send to you in the next couple of days. Unfortunately I do not have any photos.

RE: Photo for Charles Laughlin
Hi Tricia,
I added photos to Clara and Earl Laughlin at Oaklawn Cemetery. Also added the other side of yesterdays with the two children on James and Lois Laughlin. I noticed that there was a picture for Guy but not for Joanne, so I also added one for her.
I looked for Hickman, but without numbers I will have to walk around. This week is too hot, but I will set out on a nicer day and look for those also. Have a great day.

I will be there tomorrow so I will look. The two names on the other side I believe are the two children listed. Also listed is Joanne Laughlin.
At Oaklawn (which I will also be at) is Clara Laughlin and Earl Laughlin - are they yours?

Hi Tricia,
There is two other names on the same stone I sent you, I will make a note to take the other side when I am there next. I also will make a note for any others. Are they at the same cemetery?
And you are more than welcome. I'm paying forward for what others have done for me.

RE: Bandeens
Sorry, there is a Elizabeth, Elspet, Ida, Jane, Lloyd, Lyle, Mark, Samuel, 3 Williams, and an infant. With one or two exceptions that were moved from family burial grounds, the earliest marked graves date from the mid-1840's. I have also checked Perrysburg, Weston, Freedom, Liberty, and Plain Townships with no luck.
