Graduate level systematic botany. Retired IBM Corp in 1986. Current home is Range, Alabama. Hobby is wildlife studies, botanical research, photography, researching and compiling historic events. Active reseacher for the Escambia County Historical Society, and contributor to the National Wildflower Association.|
My interest in cemeteries is primarily geared to historical recording rather than expert photographic efforts. There are many cemeteries that have gone unrecorded and considering today's rush toward industrial expansion it is essential that a record be made and kept for the benefit of future generations.
If you see a memorial that was created by me and it is of interest to you, I will gladly transfer its maintenance to your care, but no mass transfers please.

If you are at the end of Hwy. 29 in Flomaton, turn right onto Hwy. 31 (heading to Brewton). After crossing the Skippy White Bridge, turn right onto MLK Dr. A landmark to look for is a little white church building on the corner. On MLK you will pass
Damascus Church and a water treatment pond. After passing that you will turn left onto the first paved road by the apartment buildings. Go to the end of that road and turn onto a "pig trail" dirt road. This road goes straight to the cemetery. I hope that this helps.
