|Lance Hall||RE: isreals|
I'm related to the Williams.
Jefferson Milton Williams (1869-1941) and sister Emma Williams Isreal (1860-1933) were born in Collin county Texas to Thomas B William and Cynthia Roberts (1831-1880). Emma married James M Israel in Collin county in 1877.
Thomas B Williams moved to Denton county after Cythia's death and died in 1899 and is buried in Lower Oak Grove cemetery. Milton married Mary Anna Reed in Denton county in 1888.
The two kids moved to San Angelo Texas by 1920s. Jefferson actually died at his sister's house according to his death record which mentions his parents same as above.
|PT Fleming||RE: WT AND MARY KELLEY|
William Leonard Kelley and Mary Elizabeth Arnold Kelley were husband and wife, something in the Find A Grave software was stopping me from including that edit. I will try again.
|Aline Burdette||RE: Lorena Stidham|
Lorena Lynch Stidham is my first cousin, three times removed. Her father, Hugh Lewis Lynch is my second great grand uncle. My third great grandfather is Hugh's brother, William Lynch. William's son, William Henderson Lynch, is my second great grandfather. His daughter, Mary Ella Lynch is my great grandmother. She married Samuel Hamilton Curry Burdette. Their son, Samuel Lynch Burdette is my grandfather. He married Aileen Louella Houchins and their son, Glenn, is my father. My Lynch line is my longest ancestral line next to my Burdette line.
Now you have me curious as to how we're related :)
|texastee ||RE: Hannah Robbins|
Tina everyone in that cemetery is my husbands brother, Grandfather, Aunt, Great Grandfather, Cousin, Grandmother, Great Grandmother...etc I can't tell you how many times we have cleaned it and removed brush...we are who put up the metal cross for the Robbins family. I have a death certificate for each person and know why each died. When I have some extra time I will go in and post the Certificates. When we get back over to the cemetery we are planing on standing up the Turners tombstones. I would really like the cemetery turned over to us if you can please. Thank you.

|Cheryl (Smith) Owens||CSA Capt Andrew Jackson Johnson|
Thank you for the transfer Tina.
|Cheryl (Smith) Owens||RE: A johnson|
Yes. CSA Captain Andrew Jackson Johnson (1832 -1912) Served in the Civil War. His widow Martha Jane Johnson filed for A.J. Johnson's pension. Also a letter from the War Department showing dates when A.J. Johnson served the Confederate States Army and when he was captured at the Battle of Lookout Mountain, and when he was released at Johnson's Island, Ohio.
He was the brother of my great grandparents Selena Johnson and her husband John Owen (J.O.) Smith.
He was also the brother of Matilda Johnson and her husband CSA John W. Bailey.
He was also the brother of David Johnson who was a Mississippi State Senator.
J.O. Smith was in the Civil War as well. Pvt. Co. A, 5th Miss. Calvary; living at Black Rock (Oklahoma) in 1912.
All of the above resided in Texas after the Civil War. Selena and Matilda and their families went on to Oklahoma. Some of David's grown children came to Texas where they stayed.
David's son - Flavius Josephus Johnson was a Judge and is buried in Llano City Cemetery

I would like to link them all together through Find A Grave.

|Jeff Bowman||RE: john R Gibson|
I am not related to John. His father Silas Gibson (112217223) is buried about 1/8 mile up the road from me in what used to be an overgrown pre-Civil War cemetery. A few years ago, I contacted the property owner (it is on private property), and asked if he could work with me to clean it up. Long story short, I found over a dozen legible headstones, including Silas Gibson. His stone has a masonic emblem across the top, and since I am a Mason also, I wanted to pull his family together on F-A-G. My research led me to John.
|Frances Smallwood Jackson||RE: Pattersons|
Funny...I had just noticed today that you had contributed to a lot of the Patterson/Williamson memorials and thought, I need to send her an e-mail!
I am related to the Williamsons as well. My maternal great-great grandmother is Syrena Williamson, through her son William Patterson. My grandmother was his daughter Myrtle Patterson. How are you related to the Williamsons? I haven't done a lot of research on the Williamsons yet!
Her husband, Bruce Herman Snodgrass, is my 5th cousin 2x removed. Charles
