I live in Stamping Ground, KY and am working with the Scott County Cemetery Project. There's nothing like a good mystery, and finding some of these places is a great challenge. Many of the entries are from the books, Gone, Forgotten, Now Remembered and Echoes of the Past in addition to information gleaned from stones. If I have listed your ancestor and you would like to take over management of the memorial, just let me know.

Nancy J Alsop Darnell Dalzell
Hi, I am looking for Nancy's burial place. Nancy was married to my 2nd great uncle Thomas J Darnell. It was just by chance that I found Nancy had remarried after TJ died. Now I can't find where she is buried at. I have figured out that she died somewhere between 1900 & 1910 according to the census which also list Thomas Dalzell as her husband. I don't know if she is buried as an Alsop, Darnell or Dalzell. Nothing is coming up. Any help you could give me would be appreciated.

Thanks Theresa

Hannah Mothershead Adams
Thank you very much for locating Hannah's marker, even if it is only her foot marker. I do appreciate it very much. May I use your picture in my personal family tree file? I use them as an additional source document, documenting the lives of my ancestors and their descendants. Hannah was the sister of my 4th Great Grandmother, Elizabeth Mothershead Greer. I will note that the picture is from: Find A Grave Contributor: Sue Baker #48108033.
Thank you again for locating, photographing and sharing Hannah's foot stone.

RE: Murphy-Wash Cemetery
I wish I lived close by. I actually live in Iowa. My dad was born and raised in Frankfort. After his stint in the Navy he settled in Iowa where my mom grew up. My grandmother still lives in Frankfort at a ripe old age of 92. Whenever I get the chance to get down there, I try visiting many of the cemeteries and have even looked for the Murphy-Wash Cemetery a couple of times. Let me know what you would like the edited version of the cemetery to read and I'll post it. As well as the geo coords when you get them. And again, Thanks!!!! =)
