Bio Photo I got interested in genealogy in 2004 and soon found what an incredible resource Find a Grave is. I am pleased to make what contributions I can to our shared knowledge base to honor my ancestors and to ease the research of others.

RE: Andreas Eiszler
Do you happen to have a tree on Ancestry? If so, my Eiszler family is within the Wikert Family Tree by DLWN2 (I think that's what I have !!!). If you don't have a membership, I can add you as a guest if you give me an e-mail.

RE: Frana Eiszler
I found the Eiszlers family in Clearfield Township, Butler Co. PA. The list of cemeteries in the township from the Historical Society include Martin Cemetery, McKee Chapel, Thompson Cemetery and St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery. There probably are more. No listing that I saw on Find A Grave. The 1850 census has her name as Ferina. Veronica is close to that, so I will start looking. Added some documents to my Ancestry tree.

Forgot to ask you if you are related!!??

RE: Frana Eiszler
I don't know yet where she is buried. I lived next to Butler County until last week. It is a large rural area and I suspect that she may have followed the European habit of going by her middle name. Also, in that era, the burial records can be sparse, especially if the grave is unmarked by a stone. Will see what I can find. Could you give me any details about the researcher who found the info on Andrew? Not sure where I found all the info (list of children and first name). Having just moved, my files are in various boxes. Our cemetery (Greenwood in O'Hara Township, Allegheny County, PA) has Jacob Eiszler and some family, but there are 2 early burials in 1887 and 1890 that are unidentified. I think the 1890 is a child, but no clue as to the earlier one.

I have linked the memorials, but the records in California may indicate two Andrew Eiszlers (son of John). Something doesn't add up. Cousins, perhaps? I did find a few things this morning and put on the family tree.

Andreas Eiszler
Noticed that your memorial has specific info on Andrew's children. And it appears, at least at first, that the grave is that of Andrew. I am checking the details of the Eiszler family to see if it is really the father of Jacob. The dates match. Jacob is the grandfather of my Aunt Minnie's husband, and I traced at least some of the family, but had no idea that his father would have ended up in California. Jacob's grandson did (Torrence, I think). I have Andrew's name as Wilhelm Andreas in my family tree, with the dates of his children matching a lot of the dates on the memorial. Family Tree on Ancestry, under Wikert Family Tree. Let me investigate a bit further before I approve the linking of the memorials.

thanks for the hint! Diane

RE: William Belieu Photo
Sorry about that, Robin. Cell signal in the cemetery wasn't great, so it didn't upload. I think it is there now.

Glad to help out!

I had come across your contributions this his memorial page and it had great info. He was a friend of my fathers which, in my search, is how i came across this. Could we connect somehow? I'd like to hear how you had found the info.

RE: Your dad
It's okay, after all, we are human. I would be pretty much the same way with my family memorials.

RE: Your dad
All of your work that I saw earlier is still there, it is mine is all missing, I am sorry but I didn't know you had the ability to merge.

Your dad
I can't transfer him because there would still be a duplicate but I will have them merged and then transfer the merged memorial back to you as it will come back to me. Hope that will work for you.
