|I am a resident of Mt. Pleasant, NC and I have been photographing cemeteries in Cabarrus Co. almost exclusively for about 10+ years. When I photograph a cemetery I try and get the whole cemetery. If you would like a few photos for your research which do not have a watermark... just ask me and I'll email them to you.|

That's a good approach!!! I've never wanted to put the certificates on the memorials.. too much info that may not need to be public… I'll try your idea! Thanks! Take care, Dana

Hey! Hope you've been well! Thanks for the updates in Oakwood Cemetery… they have been made! I never know what to put.. the death certificate date or the memorial date… it depends on whether I add the memorial first then go find them or the other way around!!! The Herrin's are relatives but there's no one alive to verify … oh well! Thanks again and have a great fall! Blessings, Dana

Thank you, Do you miss all this sunshine? The cape has grown into one of the largest cities in Florida. Land mass wise, it has the potential to be the largest. Back in the 70's you probably lived there when there was still dirt roads and such. If you ever get tired of getting cold, maybe you might consider moving back. If you ever visit this area, look me up. I would be happy to meet you. I have lived in Ft Myers now for 20 years.

Hi Tim, I really appreciate you work in finding and photo graphing cemeteries, and headstones.
I have another, that you might be able to help me with. The name of the cemetery is
VanHoy Family Cemetery,
North Carolina, USA
below is from...
Cemetery notes and/or description:
Per 'These Hallowed Grounds':
* From Albemarle take Hwy 73W to Austin Rd. Turn left at caution light. Continue 1.6 miles . Turn left onto McSwain Rd. Continue 1/2 mile to dirt road and turn left. Follow to cemetery.
* Owner: Steve and Dora Efird
*Surveyed April 2004 by Lois Huneycutt, Clevie Hatley, Pricsilla Clarke and Pam Holbrook
* Located at the old Vanhoy home place
* 19 marked stones 2 unmarked stones
I would be willing to offer any help with expenses that you might have, i.e. travel, expenses, etc

Thanks for the email. In previous emails from Nancy, she sent them to my personal email address. She didn't send any links. I checked the edits and hers is in there correctly. I haven't had time to work on the edits but you can tell her she did it correctly this time. I will get to them in a few days. Thanks for helping her.

Thanks so much for the photo's of George Whitley (1822-1869) and Kiziah "Kizzie" Eudy Whitley (1823-1894)headstones over at the Kiziah Whitley Burying Ground.
I really appreciate your help!!
Also, please let me know if there were any other marked stones there? The Stanly County cemetery book mentioned 5 marked stones and several other unmarked stones. I think I sent photo requests in for the 11 people that I had info on, when I set up the cemetery ... but any further info or photos would certainly help.
Thanks again, and have a great weekend!
