Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for nearly twenty years and have a wealth of cemetery photos. I have loved walking through cemeteries and reading the tombstones, especially the very old ones. I thought it was time I shared my photos with others, and I hope that it helps someone find their ancestor! By adding tombstone photos and bios on Findagrave, I have found a great way to share twenty years of research on my Maryland Simpson family.

More recently, I have been challenged to get the very oldest tombstones in a cemetery photographed, while they are still readable, and add them to FAG. Two of my endeavors have included Greenmount Cemetery and Baltimore Cemetery, both in Baltimore City. It has been very rewarding to find those born in the 1700's, who helped shape the City of Baltimore, place them on FAG, and then to hear from one of their descendants who had been looking for them for years!

I am glad to make any corrections and/or additions. If I have added any memorials of your family member and you do not wish it to be posted on this site, I will be glad to take it down. Also, please ask permission to use any family or tombstone photos, and give me credit for the photo. Thank you.

RE: Sebastian Mathias Royer and Samuel Royer in Brickerville Cemetery
Hello. You're welcome. There's another generation i still have to put in that is the father of Hans George Rheyer. I can't seem to find anything after his parents which are Wilhelm Reyer and his wife. But after that, except for a Julienne Rheyer/Reyer that lived to be 93 years old in the 1500's and came supposedly came from normandy, france, I can't find anything else proving weather this Julienne Reyer and Paschal Dodier were really wilhelm's parents. I'll add him now

Great! -- thanks, Linda. And, it is the 14th; the digital copy of the paper was not clear & at first the 4 looked like a 1. Thanks for spotting that. And, it's neat you added her maiden name.
Happy you used the notice.
I enjoyed reading your profile too!

Linda, I'm not related, just trying to cover Forest Cemetery. It is a large undertaking but others are working on it, too. Doug Kohli

RE: Richard Mason
Linda - A transfer would be most welcome (#47396435). I have spent much time researching and tracing Richard Mason's spouses, descendants and ancestors. I am very grateful that you photographed the family markers you found and created entries for them on find-a-grave. I know his eldest son Richard Mason (1808-1859) is also buried at Green Mount, but have not seen his marker yet. I need to visit there again. There are many Mason kin there.

When a member has messages blocked, you can contact that member by clicking on NY of their active memorials and leaving a message that way. It is actually extremely simple and effective.
