Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a former Marine and a Vietnam Veteran. I spent two tours of duty in Nam.

I can only speak for myself and the photos that I have taken. I am giving my express permission for you to use my photos in any way you see fit in your family research.

❤ I will try to never forget that am a volunteer out here, doing work for you, the absent family member.❤
I do not selfishly hoard my pictures under the selfish pretense of a 'copyright'. WHO in good conscience could ever selfishly refuse to share OPENLY the photo of another family's grave stone?

PIONEERS' REST CEMETERY, Manitowoc County, Two Rivers, WI..
I do work for a fantastic second cemetery web site called
If you run across any of my FaG memorials in 'PIONEERS REST CEMETERY' and the photos are considerably smaller then you are accustomed to seeing my name on, it is because they are being shared by the owner of that website and transferred by me with obituaries and other information to FaG from their web site. Originally they were posting them on their site much smaller due to the older camera equipment they had back then as well as the bandwidth limitations the servers offered when the web site began.

Regardless if I created a memorial or if it was one transferred to me, do not be afraid to ask for a transfer from me. NONE of my memorials are in my family tree and I do transfer.
I DO NOT PLAY F.A.G.'s numbers game! I do NOT hoard memorials. I openly welcome and gladly transfer MY memorials upon request.
MY personal transfer guidelines of MY memorials is very open. I like it when you are family of some sort BECAUSE ♥I believe no one takes better care of family then family.♥
But be Honest because I also believe there may be other valid reasons for wanting a transfer. If it was a close family friend, a next door neighbor that was like family all your life or someone that played an important part in your life that you wish to pay respect to and manage the memorial instead of me, a total stranger. Just explain your reason to me and I will more then likely transfer to you. I have yet to turn anyone down.

The four generation rule....MY THOUGHTS ONLY.....
I am still trying to find someone that has a family tree that only spans four generations!

Something for you to think about.....
If you are a volunteer on the Findagrave website and decide for any reason that you no longer can or wish to maintain your memorials, please transfer your memorials to someone who has an active account and is willing to also manage yours.
SO... Right now, while you are still active/alive, you can email if you have someone (usually a family member) who has accepted to take over stewardship of your memorials. Please send FaG their name and member number. FaG will add a note to your member page stating the identity of who you are making your steward. You can have your elected steward email FaG after your 'passing' or you going 'inactive' and they will make sure that your person can manage, edit and update all of your memorials when necessary.

A place where you search for ancestors, but you may dig up new friends!

Where you can confuse the dead and irritate the living.

Semper Fi!

Capt. Roscoe J. Woodall find a grave memorial
RJ Woodall lied about his age to get into the service. He told the recruiter that he was born April 11, 1914 when in truth it was April 11, 1916. His sister Thelma Bell Woodall Wilson was born in August 12, 1914 and they were NOT twins.
I have this on authority of my wife Janet Lee Dudley McPherson who was his niece (Thelma's daughter).
All family documents state April 11, 1916.

Could you please add the gravestone photo from Memorial 76399725 to 28143273. The lady I transfered to is related to Sylvester Wagner. I will ask Rose to delete hers.

You have my genuine thanks for the time you spent looking, taking a a great photo and posting it to this memorial. I found your feelings on transferring memorials, ownership, and the number game, also shared by me. Keep up the good work as we need more like you. Last but not least, Thank you for your service to our country. Michigan mother
