I have been doing genealogy for many years, and I suppose I can blame that on my Father.. He always wanted me to know who I was and where I came from. It was really important to him that I knew who all of my ancestors were.|
I am interested in all of my ancestoral surnames.
Some names are , ~ WALKER ~ GUNTER ~ HAYES ~ HAYS~ ~FULMER ~LEE ~ DRAKE ~ GRAHAM ~ HOLDRIDGE ~ HOULDITCH ~ ~HOLDITCH ~COLEMAN ~ RIDLEHOOVER ~RIDDLEHOOVER ~ McLAUGHLIN ~ COX ~ EVERETTE~ & DRAKE. I am also interested in my husband's names , BRASHER , LENNARD ,CHRISTIAN , JACKSON ,MILLS , MONCRIEF & STEWART
When I add a photo to another conributor's memorial if for any reason the manager of memorial is unhappy ,Please!! just let Me know and I will delete it. I do not even need to know why. I feel it is not right to add anything to another person's work that is not acceptable to them.
In turn if You add the wrong photo to one of My memorials such as , a Walker photo would not go on a Jone's memorial or if You add photo's to My memorials and I have one that is better. I will ask You to delete Your's, esp. when it is Mine or My husband's family.
Please Use the edits tab on Memorial. That is the only way I make edits. Please add memorial #'s of parents when asking for links. I will not search through memorials looking for parents You suggest. Many times there are lots of memorials with the same names.
I am in process of updating memorials with Periods behind initial's. Feel free that in edit's if You find them when asking for edit.

I was not aware I had posted an edit request on your Profile page. I just clicked on your name beneath the picture and a blank form popped up to send you a note. Sorry if I inconvenienced you in any way. I don't even see my letter on your Messages pages.
Thanks for your time.
|Pat Isabel Brown||RE: Isbell / Brasher|
Are you talking about Lum Isbell's second wife Lillie Mae Brasher? Lillie Mae was the dau of Clara Annie Mae Brasher and Cody Forest Brasher. [A BRAZIER/BRASHER SAGA, page 434]. Do you have a copy of this book? I can copy pages and send to you if you want them.
William Harrison "Bud" Isbell's parents were Daniel Wilson "Dan" Isbell and Ophelia "Felia Bell" Armstrong.
I have all the Brasher sisters, Dorothy, Mary and Pauline in my data base if you want anything on them.
I have a lot of Brashers since so many of them married Isbells. Lois Brasher Barger is the person I call on when I need Brasher help. She grew up in AL and is my age.

|Pat Isabel Brown||Isbell|
Thank you for the three Isbells. Check and see what I have added and see if it is suitable. You asked about my family. I added over 27,000 people to ancestry and maybe half of them were Isbells. I am descended from Ezekiel Isbell (1801) and Nancy Gentry thru their youngest child, Hugh G. Isbell. Hugh mar Eliza Holmes in Shelby Co. They moved over to Lamar with all of their children. Their son Hiram, my greatgrandfather, and his wife Rhoda Mason moved to AR.
Have not put my husbands Browns on ancestry yet but I need to. Don't have as many of his folks.
I would be happy to have any Isbells you want to get rid of. OR I can send you bios and data to add to them. I became personally acquainted with most of these people or their descendants/families.
I suppose what is so frustrating to me is the misinformation people put out and then other people copy it. They don't do their research. I can probably give you documentation for everything I send you.
Thank you so much. And thanks for taking Daniel. I don't know where I got him unless it was at one of the decoration day get togethers at Dunnavant or one of our workshops.
|Chris Spinney||Do You have any family knowledge of Mr. Charles Lee ?|
Charles Lee was my great grandfather. He lived in Trussville, AL before moving to Pensacola, FL. Most of his family is from Trussville. Harmon Electra Lee Perkins is Charles's youngest sister. Her parents are Baylous B Lee and Margaret Ellen Vaughn. I'll see what I can find on Gosper Lee Sibling's, but I believe there is more than five. I'll see what I can locate. If need more information feel free to ask.

I added that SSDI birth date. Do you think he died on his birthday? I'm sorry but where is the obit? Computers are not my strong suit. You really ought to take this man.
|Pat Isabel Brown||Daniel Thomas Parker|
How about me transferring this young man to you (if I can figure out how)? I do not have him in my database and his name does not ring a bell. I'm not sure how I came to post him. I don't have his wife either so do not think they are related to me.

It has taken me a while to comprehend your message. Getting old and slow. Any way you want to post the data is fine with me. I finally found Etta's tombstone and see what you mean. Do you know a stone cutter in Pell City who would carve that date in? I would be happy to pay for it. On the other hand, I have all of their children and grandchildren and one of them would probably be glad to have that done. Second thought on that. Just checked and all of their children are deceased, Have the names of the grandchildren but no phone numbers or addresses. Have friends in Dunnavant who might be able to help. Where do you live?
Would it be an acceptable thing to do - to have the date carved in? I don't think any of the family would mind.
If I had your email address I could attach their family group sheet and you could browse the family.

I have been here nearly two years. Lived in Decatur 50 yrs, but both of my children are here. All of my old friends had moved to be near their children. My husband died in 2008.

Thank you for your note. I hope I didn't suggest that you change Ella's first name because that is how I have her listed. The B. did stand for Bellezora and her maiden name was Isbell. She and Obe were cousins. Please feel free to just omit the Eller.
Thank you for all of your help.
Lewis B. Lee for whom I created a memorial may well be the same as Lewis Beason Lee in your family tree. It's either the same fellow or quite a coincidence that they're both from Odenville, AL and buried in the same cemetery.
I got the name of Lewis B. Lee from his daughter's obituary (shown on her Find A Grave memorial) and later confirmed the burial location, then created his memorial. I do not yet have his birth/death dates, but Lewis B. Lee's wife, Margaret, was born in 1927. Since Lewis Beason Lee was born in 1910, it's not out of the realm of possibilities, he's her husband. Let me know if you discover anything confirming that he is and I'll delete mine and link the wife and daughter to yours.
