Bio and Links
Bio Photo I currently live in Harlingen (Cameron County), Texas and I grew up in San Isidro (Starr County), Texas. My wife grew up in Kingsville (Kleberg County), Texas.

I've been with the U.S. Border Patrol for over 29 years. I wish I had found FAG years ago while patrolling the vast ranch lands along the SW border. During those years I've seen hundreds of lost and forgotten cemeteries.

Both of us graduated from New Mexico State University while station in Alamogordo. In our spare time we both search for forgotten and desolate cemeteries as part of our family research.

Should you want me to transfer management, all you have to do is ask. After all, they are your family members.

You have added wonderful headstone photos of some of my family members to their findagrave memorials. May I have permission to add them also onto my trees on FamilySearch.org and Ancestry.com?

RE: Moreno Alaniz
Thank you for updating the family links for the Alaniz family at Montalvo Cemetery. You are correct, the parent's memorials I created are based on the obituary information of son Reynaldo Alaniz. Intern remains location for his parents is unknown as of November 2013. I linked them to the same cemetery to ease further research in the future and I am adding a note to each memorial to indicate that.

Again thank you for your assistance. Since I am not a relative, I do not need a transfer of the memorials. Regards. Rafael

Eligio

Thank you for your prompt reply to my request and the maiden name for their mother Beatriz.

I added the parents names at that cemetery, just to have a place holder until I confirm their data. So you did not missed their graves. This way if someone has additional information they can contact me, or if they are close relatives I can transfer to them.

You can maintain management of the memorials you created. At this time I do not have enough info on them to warrant a transfer. I am not a close relative.

Again, thank you.

Regards

Rafael

Eugenio Lopez Pena and Daria Farias
Hi Eugenio,

I think we may be related. My Grandmother is Oralia Pena, her parents are Eugenio Lopez Pena and Daria Farias. I would love to pick your brain sometime.
