My name is Melanie, I got involved in this website when I was curious about what graves of some of my favorite film and music stars looked like. I have been interested in cemeteries since I was very small. I've lived in Northern California since 1987. I am a forestry technician and inspector for the US Forest Service and have worked in the Tahoe National Forest since 1999. Hence, I tend to know where to find some of these obscure little pioneer cemeteries that are hidden deep within the forest. If you have a family member or friend buried in Nevada, Sierra, El Dorado, Yuba or Placer county, California, I might be able to find it for you, since I've lived here over 20 years. If I have created a page which you would like to take over management for, feel free to contact me and I'd be happy to transfer it to you.|

HI Melanie, Good to hear from you again. The pic of Fran is one I already have in my files, but thanks for thinking of me. The one of Richard and a little girl I did not have. Who is the child in this pic? Paula

Texas, thank you for your 5 photos of the Morristown cementery. I have visited Morristown many times as my Grandfather was born there in the 1880,s. His Grandfather died in French Corral in 1890 but I have not found his marker yet. His Grandmother was burried in North San Juan. We did crayon scetches of those 5 grave sites in 1995 and took photos as well.
Thank you, Bill
