"Suddenly all my ancestors are behind me. Be still, they say. Watch and listen. You are the result of the love of thousands." - Linda Hogan
I have been researching family history for over thirty years and have accumulated a lot of information. I am happy to share with anyone and offer help if I am able. Note: some things are out of bounds at the moment on the name Preston,
I live in Taumaranui New Zealand, but travel a lot around our beautiful country in our mobile home.
I am interested in hearing from anyone who has/or can help with information on any of my research names.
If you have information that you would like on one of the memorials please feel free to add information thru the "Edit", you can also add any photo's you would like to share and if you have an headstone photo please add it to the Memorial. Our family will appreciate it.
Everyone deserves to be remembered and if you have anyone you would like to include (even if they are not related to us) I am happy to add and research the information. Some people say why research names that you have nothing to do with, well the answer is that somewhere someone may be looking for this information and if I can help then, I am better than those that question my work.
If you are not willing to help then please do not bitch about others work.
If there are correction please use the edit facility as I make mistakes and would like other to correct me, If I am not sure of information I will research further.

We share many of the same thoughts on adding info on people we do not know or are not related to - Many many thanks for updating some of the Scottish Graves. My goal for Find A Grave is for it to be THE resource for information. Thanks for taking the time and caring enough to make the edits

Sorry about the date on photo. For some reason the date appeared, though I had set it not to do so. A little out of date.

Have inserted a photo for Andrew. Not too clear. Try to get a better one next out there.
Have inserted the photo for Harold Skudder.
|Anonymous||Harold James Skudder|
Would you like a photo inserted for Harold and maybe others that haven't a memorial in St James Churchyard. I have been out there taking photos, so please let me know and I will fulfill download them for you.
|Anonymous||Charlotte Kemp St James Churchyard|
I seem to have double-up on Charlotte Kemp Memorial# 161815408 not realising that you had already inserted one in for her. Should I transfer my information into yours all would be easier for you to delete yours as I have other family names attached to it?
Kind Regards Gael

I just want to confirm that you received the email with photos that I sent you on the 24th. That was the day I transferred management of a number of Buckton memorial to you.
Found out for you where the Paranui Cemetery is from the Far North District Council and I think this is a a good description and in the same road as your Relatives:
The Paranui cemetery adjoins 169 Taylor Road, Kaitaia 0483. There is a large burgundy sign "ATAAHUA HEREFORDS ARBORETUM" that leads to the property adjoining the Cemetry. The entrance to the cemetery is tightly tucked on the right hand side of this sign.
Hope this helps
I think you need to delete one of the cemeteries you created. One with Thomas Rogers under PANANUI CEMETERY to be changed to Paranui Cemetery and the other one you have as being in WHANGAREI where you have the Taylor families buried. As said before the address is for the Cemetery is Paranui Rd 3, Kaitaia and this confirms it as the Taylor family had lived in Taylor Road, Paranui Rd 3, Kaitaia
|Anonymous||RE: Re Rogers in Paranui|
I've search for Paranui on the Driving Directions and from our place it is 72 k's from Kerikeri and from Right Address or Postal address it is Paranui Road, R D 3 Kaitaia and is around 37 k's from Kaitaia.
It would be best if you changed your address for the Cemetery to Kaitaia rather than Kerikeri.
Saying all that I see someone else has put in Paranui Cemetery as in Whangarei.
There's a Thomas Rogers who died in 1954 aged 68 and buried in Maunu Cemetery in Whangarei, but there doesn't appear to be a Paranui Cemetery in Whangarei, at least not on line.
Far North District Council doesn't have a Paranui Cemetery on line either, which operates from Kaikohe Council. They have all records of burials for the upper north. You could contact them and see if they can help you.
