Emily Thompson Bartlett
If you have a connection with Emily Bartlett and would like a transfer of her memorial, let me know through the edit function on her memorial and I would be willing to transfer the memorial, she is not related to us.

Kym Rose
Roberts family history
Hi Mike, I saw your photos (with much excitement) of Dennis Roberts (1811-1895) and his wife Mary Ann Roberts (1811-1899)and their descendants. Mary Ann Roberts b. 7 Oct 1811 in Thorne, Yorkshire and who died 4 Nov 1899 in Scarborough, North Yorkshire had the maiden name of Whitfield. Her father was William Whitfield, brewer of Thorne. Her sister was Alice Whitfield who married Christopher Fairweather and it is this couple I am descended from. Alice and her children immigrated to Victoria, Australia. I was wondering if there were any unknown photos of the Roberts family in your collection which are either a)from Australia or b)have the Whitfield or Fairweather name as identifiers. Kind regards, Kym Rose, Queensland, Australia.

Carol Darling
Bristol family
Hello Mike,

I wondered if you or your wife have info on the Bristol family that lived in Panton, Vermont - especially, Noah & Anna Bristol, and their son, Russel Titus Bristol.

My email contact info is on my Find A Grave page.

RE: Wathen
Thanks, Mike. I'm really confused. Same names - 3 John Barton Wathen at approx. but not the same dates and all three of my ancestors (at least I think they are mine) emigrated to Maryland before the death of John 1st in 1699. I don't know what to think.Guess it requires more research. If you have a clue, I'd love to hear it.

I was looking for Susanna Wathen's gravesite (d. before 1790) when I found your photos of graves a couple generations earlier. I'm thrilledThank you. I have two questions. The plaque on the ground is very clear and mentions John, Rebecca, John and Susanna, etc. What is included on the photos of the standing stone? And what does Kings Stanley mean? Do you have any info on John, III and Ann Simpson? At least I assume that is who comes next.

Thanks for any help. If you wish you can email me at

PS Looking at my dates for Susanna Wathen m. to Edward Edelen, I think I may be totally mixed up.
