Bio Photo The process of finding graves and fulfilling requests is very rewarding to me. Too bad there is not a financial reward. I enjoy visiting a cemetery for the first time.

Missing Cemetery now, it's gone Fairview at Lock Haven
Storres Myers, did you know Find A Grave or someone deleted the 3rd Fairview Cemetery in Clinton County on here. They must have thought it was a duplicate cemetery since Clinton County had 3 Fairview's. Now, all the people that were in the LOCK HAVEN Fairview are all listed as moved to the Farwell or Loganton and I don't know how to find them all to put them back. I contacted Find A Grave and told them about the mess up. I don't know how it will eventually get fixed, but I bet anyone who added any to that LH one, will have to re add them once they add that cemetery back to their database. I thought I'd let you know, so you can check if any of the headstone photos you had were from that cemetery. Thanks

RE: Elisha and Eleanor Moore
Hi, Storres,

In reading your message I am confused. I made a memorial for Eleanor Barber Moore (#154753557). She was the wife of Elisha Moore and died in 1827. I am descended from the Barbers with the Moores entering my family tree by marriage.

You stated that you made a memorial for Eleanor Moore (#169635778). She married Ellison Moore and died in 1846. It is possible that Ellison was related to Elisha.

I used the book Andrew Moore and His Descendants, 1612-1897 for the information on Eleanor Barber, who married Elisha Moore. I did not study any other Moores, since they are not closely related to me. The book is available online at

Thank you for writing to me,

Many thanks for photo and such quick turnaround. I am helping a dear friend with her tree, and we are thrilled to have this photo to add. This man is the beginning of a very long line of descendants similarly named in her family. Thanks again.

I see you took photo of my 4th Great Grandfather grave George Bright. I know this stupid but by Chance would you have Seen a Miltary marker for war of 1812 there?

No problem at all leaving this photo up - if that's all there is, then that's all there is! Appreciate your work in this cemetery!

Elisha and Eleanor Moore
Thank you for looking up the Moores, said to have been buried in Union Cemetery in Bellefonte in Centre Co.

The book Andrew Moore and His Descendants, 1612-1897, says Eleanor was buried there. It always make me sad to learn that a grave has no marker. This could be due to financial difficulties of the family at the time of the person's death or lack of maintenance of the gravestone.

RE: Jeremiah Duey
Thanks!!! After this weekend I will do some further research and see what I can find out. Sometimes you have to go thru the back door to find what you're looking for.
