|I am a resident of Mt. Pleasant, NC and I have been photographing cemeteries in Cabarrus Co. almost exclusively for about 10+ years. When I photograph a cemetery I try and get the whole cemetery. If you would like a few photos for your research which do not have a watermark... just ask me and I'll email them to you.|

Thanks. I eliminated one of them.

I see where you have 3 photo requests for photos more that 900 miles away, but the photos you have on Find A Grave are watermarked. You are asking someone to help you but you are not willing to reciprocate the same. I have been in this business for 30 years and am willing to help anyone locate and/or photograph a grave freely.

Yes, Terry. I don't know what the Cs stand for, but he is listed as M.C.C. Walters on his death certificate and also as Martin C.C. Walters in 2 census listings.
CGS meets at 7:00 PM for about 1 1/2 hours. I have the program tomorrow night.

Ben A Miller is part of a large Miller family that moved to Cabarrus county to work in textiles from Yadkin county between 1880 and 1900. John Martin Miller and his wife Mary Ann Dinkins had 10 children. They are in Yadkin county in 1880, in Cabarrus in 1900, 1910,etc.
John Martin Miller died in 1916 as a widower. Do you have pictures of his gravestone and possiby his wife? There are so many Millers I want to be sure I have the right one. thank you for your kindness.
Tim, I looked at the picture of the headstone and it looks like Ira L. I was researching this family and found a death certificate for Lee Vanfield Barringer, son of Grover & Flora Hatley Barringer. He was born 3/28/1917 and died 5/10/1917, buried at Mt. Pleasant. I re-checked and they had a son, born later, named Wayne Vanfield Barringer, who is buried in Oakwood. I would go with the name on the headstone. I also found on the SS Index that the father, Grover Cleveland Barringer, born 1/15/1885, died Feb, 1959. I have been unable to find a death certificate for him. I retract the correction I made and apologize for the error.
