If you are requesting correction or transfer of a memorial, please use the EDIT tab and be sure to include your contributor #. Sure makes it easier for the changes to be made. You are already at the memorial and I don't have to go and look it up. THANK YOU!|
At the prompting of our daughter about 20 years ago we started the search for our families. The search has led us to meet many family members who have opened their hearts and homes to us as we followed our journey.
My family ancestry is all in Germany and my husband's is half Norwegian and half Rusyn. We've visited cemeteries all over the country but mainly in Minnesota. I've now adopted Field Township Cemetery for several reasons but mainly because my husband's parents and immigrant grandparents are buried there and that will also be our final resting place. It's only 1/2 mile from our home, so easy to keep up with.
We've learned throughout my searching that "rooters" as we're nicknamed are all great people, willing to help each other and to help knock down brick walls.
Have you noticed incorrect dates or spellings? Please let us know because my fingers don't always hit the right keys. If anyone has additional information or would like us to transfer management, please let us know that, too.
Our family lines are RIVINIUS anywhere, SCHLICHTING in New York, HOLTER and HOBLAK in Minnesota

|W. L. Higgins||Transfer Thank you|
Thank you kindly for maintaining our family member site for our Aunt Pat M. for some time. I appreciate your kindness and compassion to watch over so many loved ones. Thank you for the current transfer of her site to me. I hope to connect more family as time allows.

I'm glad you caught the father/son mix up. I think I took care of the issue but wasn't sure if they shared a family marker so I left it on both memorials. Let me know of that's needs to be changed as well.

You are very welcome. That's a good idea for how to deal with a duplicate record. Next time it happens to me, I'll try your technique. Thanks for the tip!
