David Forbes
Hi, Valerie,
I wanted to verify that David Forbes grave is actually in Maple Hill Cemetery in Gladbrook, Iowa. His daughter, Martha Sophia Forbes Kellogg and her husband Calvin Kellogg are buried in Maple Hill Cemetery in MONTOUR, Iowa, and it seems more likely that he would be buried near them since he lived with them. Can you verify? Thanks, Jenna

Hi Valerie,
I live in the Black Hills and was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Deadwood,SD to take some pics yesterday. I found Lemuel and Narcissa Collins stones. Lemuel is the name of a friend's brother back in Illinois. Since the stone says served in the Ill volunteers I took a picture. I see you already have the picture, so I wanted to let you know that I looked at the cemetery burial records and it lists Lemuel as 57 years when he died and Narcissa as 68 years when she died, if those help you at all.

Thanks for all your work!

My wife wanted me to thank you for the memorial #90143631 and headstone photo. Jonas was a cousin of her. I need to add his parent when we return home. While in Deadwood I found his grave simply by accident while looking at the headstones facing me. Thank you again, Jim and Sandy
