Greetings from Pittsburgh PA! Although I currently reside in the great City of Pittsburgh, I'm not a Pennsylvania native. I moved here over a decade ago to pursue career opportunities as an archivist. I have recently completed my master's degree at the University of Pittsburgh. |
I was born and reared in Michigan where many of my ancestors were early pioneers in the 1830's and 1840's. Many of my postings on Find-A-Grave will be from Michigan. Unfortunately, I do not get back to my native state as often as I wish. But, I do maintain listings for the following Michigan cemeteries:
Cradit Cemetery, Leoni Twp., Jackson Co.
Nims Cemetery, Henrietta Twp., Jackson Co.
Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Henrietta Twp., Jackson Co.
I welcome inquires for these cemeteries.

Would you like this transferred to you?

Let me know if there are anymore Higgins that you would like transferred over to your care.

You're very welcome, David. The afternoon sun makes the difference on west-facing stones. The
ones that are shaded didn't fare so well, though
his wife Nancy is buried in Hamilton cemetery; is listed on findagrave.

Thanks for helping me eliminate Hamilton Cemetery as her burial location.
|Antoinette Johnson-Alexander-Carvajal||Jack Robert Johnson|
Thank you for finding my dad, Jack Robert Johnson. A Lt. in the US Army he passed away in 1965 when I was barely 2yrs old. Now I'm almost 50, been wondering about him and looking for him for a long time. And it was nice knowing my grandparents are in the same cemetery with him.

No problem. Glad to help out.
|Diane LM||Henry Hoyt FOUND !!!|
I went on the monthly cemetery walk in Oakwood today, looking at the landscape design. Walking up the trail through the old parts of the cemetery I was scanning the names for the database in my head and found Henry in Section 22. I have attached the photo to the memorial and asked the creator to edit the info, but I will also email the pictures to you.
