Randal Dwayne Johnson and John Carl Mixon
Good evening, Steve. Long story. I have been working for a number of years now with several people on the extended "WARD" family, one of whom is Carol Ward Vintson from Selma, Alabama, who is a direct descendant of John Isaiah Ward and Mary Caroline Boutwell.

John was an older brother or my great great grandfather, Michael I Ward.

Randal Dwayne Johnson and John's wife, Angilou Bernetha Till, both link back to John Isaiah Ward and Mary Caroline Boutwell.

Carol and I are working to update her last book and my own on our extended family and much appreciate the work of "Find A Grave" volunteers like yourself especially as I live in Texas and seldom make it to Alabama these days.

RE: JAMES ARTHUR FAULK # 11592560
STEVE, I UNDERSTAND ALL OF THAT AS I'VE ENCOUNTERED SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH OTHERS WHO ELIMINATED MY MEMORIALS, WHILE TAKING MY FAMILY LINKS WITH THE APPROVAL OF FIND-A-GRAVE, WHICH MADE ME QUITE FRUSTRATED GIVEN THE AMOUNT OF TIME I SPENT BUILDING THE MEMORIALS. VERY UNFAIR. TAKE IT EASY. MITCH FAULK

JAMES ARTHUR FAULK # 11592560
DEAR STACEY, _____Would you check your memorial to JAMES ARTHUR FAULK, MEMORIAL # 11592560 in MONROEVILLE, MONROE COUNTY, ALABAMA, USA either in the BAPTIST CEMETERY or the MONROEVILLE BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY. There are two memorials to him in either of those 2 cemetery names, which I think are one in the same. _____The other memorial by JUDY & JAMES TALBOT has his birth & death years recorded as 1886-1916 & your memorial lists the years, 1886-1918. Their memorial has both years wrong & your's is only half wrong, as I see it. _____According to my magnified zoomed close-in blow-up of the headstone, the year dates appear to be 1888-1918. Check it out. _____I took the liberty of adding 2 photos to your memorial that you may not want to keep. Makes no difference to me, delete them, if you see fit. It's your memorial, after all. _____ THANK YOU, _____ MITCH FAULK

LW and John Brantley
Dear Mr. Stacey,

Thank you for the information and reply. My question was been resolved. John Brantley was the son of Lot Whitten "Whit LW" Brantley. John's records were somewhat convoluted by the fact that he is referred to many ways: JR, John R, JK, John K and simply John. I did manage to contact the wife of one of LW's GG Grandsons. From her it was confirmed the John's correct name is "John Kyle Brantley" and that indeed he was the son of LW.

LW and John Brantley
Dear Mr. Stacey,

Would you be so kind and provide a little assistance. I am researching LW Brantley (memorial 126574658) descendants and John "R or K" Brantley ( Memorial 23719429) ancestors. I know for sure the two paths will meet. Was LW Brantley the father or grandfather of John Brantley? I am missing a generation if LW was his grandfather but if he was his father the two paths have meet.
