Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Tippecanoe County, Indiana and have family ties to Fountain, Warren, and Clinton counties, as well as Tippecanoe. Have been researching family trees on my husband's and my side of the family for about 10 years now. Between the two of us our family stretches from east to west and north to south.

If anyone finds an error in anything I have added, please let me know & I will correct it. If I have added a relative of yours & you would like a transfer, please let me know. I do reserve the right to transfer only within Findagrave guidelines. Recently I have been getting multiple requests at one time for great grand aunts & uncles and first cousins 3x & 4x removed. I don't mind transferring anyone, but there is a limit. I am more than willing to make any corrections, additions, family links. Most will be done within a day or two of being received. If you send a change and I haven't done it within two weeks, please send it again. I may have missed it going to SPAM.

The main families I am currently researching include Bearden, Kerr, Ghere/Gher, Redman, Martin, Loveless, Trackwell, Whittaker/Whitaker, Fenters/Fentress, Livengood, Walker, Rush, Leeper, Oland, Starkey and other related lines.

If you have any corrections, additions, changes, or transfer requests, PLEASE use the edit tab on the memorial page.

5/5/2014 -
I will be out of town for a couple of weeks for a very happy occasion. My first grandchild is getting married!!! (May 10) YEA!!! Finally, I have something to celebrate and be joyous over after all the family problems I have had lately in California. My granddaughter will be 25 on the 26th of May and has been seeing her hubby-to-be for almost four years. Then in two years, I should be going to see my first great-grandchild being born. LOL

Anyway, be patient if I'm a little slow in responding to questions, changes, transfers, etc. Can't have my laptop when I'm sitting in the water.

RE: Samuel Whitmer Edit Request
Looks as though they used 5 days instead of 25 days to get the birth date. Can you give me your assessment of the headstone. Sure looks like 25 days to me...

Samuel Whitmer Edit Request
Do you have a source for the birth date? Based on headstone seems to be August 29, 1796?

RE: Kathy Smith Mooneyhan
You're welcome... I'm sorry for the loss of your friend's daughter. She was too young.
Take care, Vonda

You are very welcome. I am glad you appreciate the close up shot. I figured it is something I would want so try to include one of each site I photograph.

Jacob McVay Headstone Mingo Cemetery #103509964
I am trying to determine which Jacob McVay is buried at findagrave memorial #103509964. His date of birth has been said to be 1780 by, in addition to you, by the Huffman's who did a survey of the Mingo Cemetery in 1961. This survey has been posted on the internet by the Washington Co. PA Achives. Do you know if that information is on his headstone or has been determined by some other means? A picture of his headstone has been posted on the Jacob McVay memorial and it looks like there is a flag and memorial showing participation in the Revolutionary War. If the flag does belong to this Jacob McVay's headstone, the date of birth of 1780 cannot be correct. I have contacted the person who posted the picture to see if the flag did seem to belong to Jacob McVay. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Richard Lybrook
RE: Gottlobe Frederic Ade # 58542198
Sorry about the broken lines I have corrected the problem.
I do not know them personally but all the Lybrooks (Liebrock)are related. We have them traced back to when they came to this county 1757 and to Indiana about 1807.
