...I am a belgian living in the Verdun area of France , I live about 10 minutes from the Romagne sous Montfaucon cemetery of Lorraine --

I just finished taking pictures in the Meuse Argonne cemetery , and will continue in Hamm luxembourg ---Once finished I intend to go to Saint Mihiel , St Avold and Belleau -to take pictures of all the markers there ... I try to do the smaller british cemeteries on my way through France and Belgium ..

Sometimes adding a complete graveyard isn t possible , as often there are headstones missing due to replacement or the stones are in very bad condition and cannot be read ---but I always try to get them done as complete as possible , so please forgive me if sometimes a few pictures are missing --because it isn t always possible to do a return journey .

Sorry to have to ask, but...
***Please don't take my photos and claim them as your own work***

Allow me to post them.
and please don t add more names in the Meuse Argonne site , all the names are there-

Thank you
Thank you so much for sending me the photograph of the tombstone for Loren Max Harrington. I quickly forwarded it to his niece, who has wanted this picture for years.
Once again, thank you very much.

Corozal Cemetery Panama
The Heim/Saum family headstone included my mother's sisters, Dorothy and Louise, so this photo is special to. Also in the cemetery my father's brother, Frederick John Kalander is buried. He too was reinterred from Mt Hope Cemetery. I don't recognized the source for reporting burials. I am curious about why you travel to Panama. I am third generation Canal Zonite, my father and I were born there.

*thank you* :D
Thank you so much for photographing this marker. The findagrave record is a reference on Powell's Wikipedia page here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Wesley_Powell
Other references on that page have Powell's birth as MAY 5 1854, the marker has the birth year as 1855 and the findagrave info has Mar 5 1854. Do you think the findagrave month is a typo? Regardless, thanks again for taking the time to fulfill this request-a generous gift to me.

My Fallen Great Uncle from WW1
Thanks to you I just found a picture you took in 2008 of my Great Uncles WW1 Grave in Belgium. your posting says the following
soilsister
5/31/2008

It's an updated marker from the one I saw in an old photo of my Great Grandmother standing by what looked like a cast iron marker when she was provided the opportunity to visit her sons grave under the U.S. Mother's of Fallen Soldiers travel program in the 1920's. It's nice to see the cemetery is maintained well.

My late Great Uncles name is Lehi L. Smith- died October 28, 1918.
