|Elaine Vanderwal||HANNESSON/ Christianson/Thorr Graves|
These folks are buried in the West Melankton Cemetery, Upham, McHenry County
N Dakota. Would you have photos for the gravestones of Victoria (Christianson) Torr #108659372 or her husband Aaron Torr # 12256757
or her parents Gudrun (Hannesson) Christianson # 12256754 and Gudbjartur Theodore Christianson # # 12256750 or her grandparents Joannes F. Hannesson # 12328367 and Anna V. Hannesson #12328366 and their small children Sigurloug H. Hannesson
# 12328364 & Wilfred J. Hannesson # 12328365.
(Grandparents & 2 small children are in a different cemetery, Melankton Cemetery).
I have already emailed Herb Schwede and he doesn’t have photos for the gravestones of Victoria’s grandparents and children or Victoria’s husband, Aaron Torr. Just hoping you may have taken photos and wonder where you found the obituary for Victoria?
Thanks a million, Elaine
|Hooked On Family||Marvin Crouse|
Thanks again for this memorial. I've added census info and am looking in my huge Crouse document for more on him.
I found an awesome photo of him and four siblings on Ancestry, but need to see if the person who posted it there would put it on the Find A Grave memorial.
Thanks for your encouragement. It's been a rough day!

Your welcome. Thanks for proccessing all the edits. (More to come). Also, thank you so much for all your Find A Grave work! Shirley
|Shirley Welch Summers||Duplicate Roe Memorials|
I requested (through the edit tab)edits and links for Richard Hugh Roe, his wife Hattie May (MacLellan)Roe and daughters Letitia Mae Roe and Annie June Rose Roe. I then discovered that there were duplicate memorials for both Letitia and Hattie May. I did NOT use memorial #109503510 (May H. Roe) and #109503380 (Letitia Mae Roe). All four of them are inscribed on the same headstone as shown in the Canadian Headstone Project - Manitoba. I would appreciate it if you could delete these two extra memorials to avoid confusion. Thanks so much. Shirley
|Hooked On Family||RE: Martin Crouse|
Thank you. I so appreciate you creating this memorial. I never would have known where he was buried.
I am working hard on the Crouse family!!! My great grandfather who was Martin's great uncle, and Martin's grandfather father had 15 siblings. I have found all 15, but am now working on the offspring generations!
I can't wait to get started on Marvin's page!!!
His middle name was Everett, I believe. We have another Everett Crouse whom I knew, so I'm wondering if he was named for this individual.
I have retired from 30 years of teaching and am having a blast looking all of this up!!!!
Thanks so much again.

|Sandra Williams||RE: Myrtle (Stewart) (King) Jeffers|
Thanks very much.
|Sandra Williams||RE: Myrtle King or Jeffers|
Yes, Myrtle, my second cousin was married to her first husband Robert Lorne King in 1938. They had two children and divorced. Myrtle later married her second husband Ernie Jeffers, they separated but never divorced. Can you transfer Myrtle to me since she is a relative of mine? Look forward to your reply.
|Brooke ||RE: morgan|
I always leave a transcription as there are times people find it difficult to "read" the picture. This one is of good enough quality but sometimes something is cropped on pictures I see or the inscription is faded, etc. So, no, I consider it extra service rather than redundant.
