Sharpin in Treherne
hi. I checked a rough index of burials for this cemetery, and it looks like there are a few more Sharpins buried here. I added the names and dates to Find A Grave a few minutes ago. It might be a few weeks before I am in this cemetery again though. I'll keep it in mind to get pictures for them next time I am out there.

Sharpin on Ancestry
On Ancestry.com it appears that Keith Sharpan is descended from the Sharpin-Bowyer marriage, and he has some pictures of some of the Bowyer family as well. Keith appears to have done a lot of good quality research.

Sharpin family on Ancestry.com
Hi. Are you a member of Ancestry.com ? There is a large family tree there for this Sharpin family, and there are a large number of pictures from the 1800s and early 1900s as well. There is also a photo of Ann Bowyer (1836-1920), and even one of her father Thomas Bowyer (c1795-1883). It seems the researcher is Keith Sharpan. Also, it turns out one of the grandchildren of John Sharpin and Ann Bowyer, named Frederick Howard Sharpin (1896-1957) married my Dad's cousin Evelyn Woodward and they had 3 children. I see the whole thing on Ancestry.com When I saw the Sharpin name on your photo request I knew I had that name on my own family tree among my hundreds of cousins, but I thought my Sharpins were in a different town many miles away.

Althea Hazel MONTEITH
You have provided a plot number at Waikumete Cemetery for Althea Monteith, but an area is needed as well - do you have that information available?

Agnes Bowyer - Sunnyside
Will fulfill your request within a couple minutes with grave photos. Please note that there is no stone for Agnes. Her grave is marked by the yellow flower in the photos.

Thanks again Steph, if you are passing by that neighbourhood again, grabbing the last few would be fantastic.

Hi Kevin,

not a problem, I'm sorry I was unable to find the other stones for you this week.

William and Annie Massey
There was no stone erected for this couple.
There were two spaces between existing stones. Cemetery staff assured me that that was where they were buried.
