Thank you for posting his picture, always great to know what they looked like. I showed the page to a couple of family members already and we agree he was a handsome fella. Have a great week!

Art, thank you so much for adding his photo that you found in an antique store. He married my Great Aunt. That is so wonderful that you took the time to find him on Find-A-Grave and then added his photo. That middle name of "Strange" always fascinated me, but somewhere I saw that it was a family surname. Thank you very much! - Sue

thank you so much for taking the time to go look. the info is very valuable to me and the different spelling gives me more to research. also i talked to my uncle and he said that his mother used to actually own the land where the cemetery is located; I have not had the chance to interview him in depth to his knowledge of any ties to family and history of names.
I have a friend in Yakima now named Roberta Armstrong, she is working on a legal project for the tribe. give her a call if you are going to be in the toppenish area. (425)737-5448 she actually tried to visit Sloutier cemetary for me last summer, but couldn't find it.

Art, thank you so much for obtaining these headstones for me. I honestly never thought I'd have the opportunity to see them. Again, thanks.
