I have been researching my family tree for over 40 years now and find them all over the United States, but primarily in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. As a few of the lines moved westward, I have followed their trails and have discovered many wonderful ancestors.|
Upon my retirement and move to North Carolina, I now have time to volunteer to take tombstone photos and help others.
Please feel free to use any photos I post, all I ask is that you give me credit for doing so.

Yes, thank you ---- I also located Rachel as age 83, a widow, with her daughter, S. E. Baird, in the 1880 census (dated in June) -- at Luzerne Township, Fayette County, PA census. S. E. Baird could be the Sarah buried at Uniontown.
Do you know if there is a Francis M Hux buried in Ebenezer Church in Halifax NC with Margaret Hux

Thanks, Margaret. I looked up their marriage record, and added date to both memorials. Also added Mary's maiden name, as shown on record. Does this match your info?

Thank you so very much for the numerous photos you have posted for the memorials at Woodland Cemetery in Chase City. As one who is old and live a good distance away, I very much appreciate that you volunteer your time and talents to do this work.

Margaret, thanks so much for the photos of the stones of Leo and Mae from Bethel. Mae was my first cousin; and a sweeter person I will never know. You are very generous with your time and talents, and I thank you.
