I am a former Marine and a Vietnam Veteran. I spent approximately 18 months in Nam.|
I can only speak for myself and the photos that I have taken. I am giving my express permission for you to use my photos in any way you see fit in your family research.
❤I will try to never forget that am a volunteer out here, doing work for you, the absent family member.❤
I do not selfishly hoard my pictures under the pretense of a 'copyright'. WHO in their right mind selfishly refuses to share OPENLY the photo of another family's grave stone?
I DO NOT PLAY F.A.G.'s numbers game that so many of us despise! I do NOT hoard memorials. I openly welcome and gladly transfer MY memorials upon request.
VERY VERY FEW of these memorials are my family. SO if they are in yours do not be afraid to ask for a transfer.
I do not hold tightly to strict family guidelines. I prefer that you are family of some sort BECAUSE ♥I believe no one takes better care of family then family.♥ But I also believe there may be other valid reasons for wanting a transfer.
Also a bit out of the box..... if it was a close family friend, and old boy friend or someone that played an important part in your life that you wish to pay respect to and manage the memorial instead of a total stranger, please explain that to me and I'll more then likely still transfer to you.
The four generation rule....MY THOUGHTS ONLY.....Since when does a family tree or your ancestors start or stop at four generations??? If you are doing your family tree it is impossible to to continue on or finish if you stop at 4 generations only! How incomplete would that be!?
If you are a volunteer on the Findagrave website and decide for any reason that you no longer can or wish to maintain your memorials, please transfer your memorials to someone who has an active account and is willing to take over management of your memorials.
If you do not know someone personally, PLEASE email Findagrave and explain your situation. They will take over management of your memorials and continue to maintain them for edits and family transfers.
Right now, while you are still active/alive, you can email "email@example.com" if you have someone (usually a family member) who has accepted to take over stewardship of your memorials. Please send FaG their name and member number. FaG will add a note to your member page stating the identity of who you are making your steward. You can have your elected steward email FaG after your 'passing' or you going 'inactive' and they will make sure that your person can manage, edit and update all of your memorials when necessary.

Thank for transferring my mother and the rest of the Wingard ancestors to me. Yes, they are all my kin folks although some are distant kin. . I am not concerned with having any other memorials transferred to me but I promise to take good care of the ones you have put in my care.
I have researched most of them but some I am not sure about. I will be checking in the next few weeks to find out who belongs to who and see what I can add if anything to their memorials.
Thanks again and God bless.

Thank you Larry, for transferring my brother Timothy Irvin Wingard and my dad John Samuel Wingard to me from Oakhill Cemetery in Prattville Al.
I'm still very new at these transfers and additions to the graves of my kin but I'm learning.
My mother Mary Lee Wingard is 88 years old and still living but she has a memorial already created. She will be buried next to my Dad one day so would you please transfer her memorial to me also. I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you for your great work.

Larry, I was uploading pics and ran across a pic that must have been uploaded to the wrong profile by accident. If you go to memorial # 122448056 you will see a pic credited to you that should be on memorial # 122448092 I have uploaded the correct one to the first profile and had uploaded a pic I took to the 2nd one also. Would it be possible for you to delete the incorrect pics.
