Delphine Stevens Stevenson
Hello Linda,
I learned where Delphine is buried. She is at Reeds Chapel Cemetery in McIntosh Alabama in an unmarked grave. Family members are going try and get the marker number possibly.

I want to also mention that i don't believe Delphine went to McIntosh Alabama to be with her brother Charlie Stevenson in yhe 1950s . Charlie Stevenson passed in 1943 it may have been that she went the sane time Charlie went there sometime in the1890s or shortly after.

I know that Delphine lived off of Luella road across the street from her Niece Luella Stevenson Snow and next door to Mariah Stevenson ( Aunt Sis ) her other Niece. Delphine lived there until her death. I have seen both house that are right next to each other. They are shacks now with trees and vegetation growing in and around them.

Have you had any luck tracking down James ( Jim ) Stevenson?

Talk with you soon.

Richard (Dicky) Booker
Linda,
Thank you for researching Richard (Dicky) Booker. I am surprised he didn't have a head stone, as his parents (my great grandfather), would have had the money to purchase one...who knows.
Thanks for your efforts.
Sincerely
Judy Booker Swerer

RE: Susan Goff Davis in Biloxi Cemetery
Thank you I will ask her. I visited Biloxi cemetery a couple of years ago before I knew Susan Davis was there. I was in town for a concert and saw the cemetery off the road on the beach and stopped. It had been heavily damaged by hurricane Katrina lots of graves and remains washed away. It was very sad to see I hope her marker is still there.

RE: Dell Stevens
Wow Linda,
That kinda makes us kin by marriage. Pleasure to meet you. I have come across so many family stories, but i can say this not all where true. However, all that what my Grandma Gladys Stevenson had told me has turned out to be true and in some cases mostly true with a slight variance.

We think James Stevenson my G G Grandpa was at the Alabama fort in 1863. Not sure if it was him or not. I would love to know all about GFS Grandma Sarah Havens Stevenson. I have traveled far back in time on the Weaver / Reed side of my family that is MOWA Choctaw from Alabama. That side is relatively easy compared to the Stevenson side past Great Grandpa Charlie Stevenson. I really appreciate meeting you and anither family members.
