Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm addicted to Genealogy so my wife says. I've been doing it for about fifteen years. Taking pictures of all the kin I never got to meet. We were told we were the last of the Reece's "NOT"!! I started out with about ten names and have over six thousand five hundred. I'm really glad there are people who will help you with your research. FindAGrave is another tool for newcomers to Genealogy and Veterans. If you find any errors or would like for us to correct the info that was supplied to us please use the edit tab then the suggest a correction (SAC) bar.

My brother Jim & Rosa King and I are currently working on all the NC Vietnam KIA/MIA's Grave sites. After 8 years of searching, we've located all of the resting places for these brave men & women who paid the ultimate price, over 1900 of them. This doesn't mean we are idle. Now we are looking for their photos. The search for all Vietnam KIA/MIA's goes on.

You can try me at treece6818@aol.com if the Yahoo doesn't work

Louise Byrd Monds, Mem.# 53022243
I think I have discovered the problem, no doubt a typographical error. Some of the numbers in the mother's memorial number were transposed.

Her mother is listed as Jesse Stout, Mem. # 21060421, this Jesse Stout is a male.

The person who should be listed as her mother is Almenia E. Byrd, Mem. # 21600421. I know this to be correct from my personal relationship with the family since the 1930s.

I have submitted a correction on Louise's Memorial number and on her sister, Cornelia Eula Belle Byrd Vandergrift, Memorial #52058093. Jesse Stout was listed as her mother also.

If the corrections I submitted are approved, the half-sibling problem in my previous message should be solved.

Louise Byrd Monds, Mem.# 53022243
Several of her siblings are listed as half siblings. That is incorrect, she had no half siblings. That info was probably computed from some other incorrect information. I have not researched for the erroneous information.

Louise and the siblings listed were my first cousins and I have knowledge of the family since the 1930s and a close relationship with Elizabeth Darrow Byrd Sherman for several years before her death.

I don't know the procedure for making corrections.

Thanks,

Jim Smith

RE: Hall ??
The mistake maybe in the spelling of his name but it is the same person.

Memorial # is 59074222.

He is listed as being in the Hall Cemetery but it is the wrong Hall Cemetery.

Thx
Faye

Wrong Cemetary
This is my first cousin. He is buried in the Hall Family Cemetary on Wagon Ford Rd. in Potters Hill along with several other family members.

I think you have him buried in the wrong place. Please correct.

Thank you

Donald Mullaly Horton
Just want to say thank you for posting the photograph of my husband's first cousin,Donald Mullaly Horton. Both he and my husband, Joseph Donald Smith, were named for their maternal uncle, U.S. Navy Chief Donald Mullaly, who died during WWII of Malaria contracted while serving in the Philippines.
