Hi from New Zealand. There are a few cemeteries in my local area in South Auckland/Franklin area. 30 I've been reliably informed. |
For a personal project, I'm photographing and putting online the headstones that are in our local cemeteries. Just starting on this project in 2011. I have a feeling this is going to take a long time, just doing a few at a time.
My daughter has joined forces and is photographing graves in the Auckland area. (I type, she posts the pictures :) )
If I get something wrong, or you want to make some changes to a memorial, then please use the edit button.
Please do not ask me to delete a record I have created if you created the second one after I did. If you want to add something, please use the edit button
I understand I can also transfer the ownership of the memorial to a relative.
I am willing to take photos in the Franklin district, South of Auckland City in New Zealand. Again, please leave a message.

Small world. Barry's father Arthur was my husband's cousin.
Thanks so much for transferring the family over. Barry's mother will be pleased.
Thanks for everything,
|Anonymous||Ethel Harriet Senn|
I've left a pending Relationship for her mother and father. I believe this memorial can be transfered, so is it possible for this to be done along with the other Senns that are attached.
Thank you for taking a photo of the memorials

Hi Bea. Thanks for that news. I have also discovered that my Frederick John Foote has a slighty different date of death just by a few months so obviously you and I concerned about different people. Thanks for the reply.

Hi Bea. Chuckles. I stand to be corrected but I am unsure that Elizabeth Stewart Foote (? - 1916) is wife of Frederick John Foote (? - 1914). I use ancestry.com and tend to consider Frederick John Foote's (1851 - 1914 Thames) wife to be Mary Elizabeth Bisset (1857 Sorrel Tasmania - 1935 NZ). My main envidence involves their marriage in 1878. If you go to https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/search/ and bring up the marriage tab and at the bottom of the page put in 1878/2434 where it says Registration Number.
If I am grossly mislead please let me know.
However, regardless thank you for the grave-burial details for John Foot.
All the best,
Ivan Tchernegovski (related to the Bisssets).
