Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing genealogy for about 25 years. A great deal of my family lived in Lafayette County, Mississippi. Some names from Lafayette County include Hale, Wooten, Lynch, Ragland, and Harris. I have uploaded all of my genealogy information to the website listed below as well as ancestry.com. I'm always looking for family photos and I've collected quite a few.

Katie Lake-Garner Note
Quick Note: You may want to state that Katie's grave does not state her date of birth. I saw that you've done such for some of the other Lake graves. You may also want to list the source where you obtained her birth date if it was gathered from a source other than word of mouth.

Rodney Eugene Knight
Hi, Irma.

I was able to locate Mr. Knight's tombstone photographed and I will transfer custody to you if you want me to.

I also uploaded the same photo to Mrs. Knight-Pollard's memorial. I think she may actually be buried somewhere else, however.

All the nearby members of the Knight family are already photographed. I couldn't find any Pollards in the cemetery, though they could still very well be there.

If I can do anything else for you, please let me know!

Brian

RE: Annie Mayo
Marriage bonds are still held in the courthouse (circuit clerk?). The (older?) licenses & certificates are held by the Skipworth genealogical society upstairs in a locked glass case in the library. I just took my cue from the little genealogical blurb you posted. I had the volunteer gentleman at Skipworth make me a copy at the library on my way to the cemetery on the first day I got in touch. It just seemed fitting (poetic justice for the genealogical palette) to post both the license/certificate & grave photos together in this instance! Been busy this weekend, so I haven't had time to post the remainder of the pictures. I'll try to get working on posting graves for the other family members. Are these relatives of yours or are you doing research for another person? Either way, I hope the intended party enjoys having both photos together along with that genealogical blurb! :-)

RE: Annie Mayo
Hey Irma, I've got pretty much all of the pictures of the graves from the family plot (pg. 20 of Skipworth transcription book)... and a nice little bonus surprise too! :-)

I've gotta go back in the morning to re-photograph a 2-3 of the graves because the shadows or light from the sun just made for some crappy pictures at that time of day.

Annie Mayo
Hey Irma!

I see that you're looking for Annie Mayo in Section 1 of Oxford Memorial. I'm headed into Oxford for some errands at the moment. I'll try to swing by and see what I can find for ya. :-)

RE: Frank P. Holloman
Irma, I have just added three more Holloman headstones that were buried in the same row as Frank. Had to create memorial pages for them. Fran
