Bio Photo *CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR: MILLER/OLD MILLER CEMETERY 2 miles WEST of SNEADS FL.....any info would be great!!!

I am currently researching the Miller families in Seminole, Decatur, Miller, and Early County Georgia and Jackson County Florida. Along with the Godby, Hunter, Yawn, Gibbons, and Williams families of the same area.

WORKING ON A MILLER HISTORY BOOK ABOUT THE FAMILY FROM SEMINOLE COUNTY GEORGIA! here is the Facebook link https://www.facebook.com/TheMillerFamiliesOfSouthwestGeorgia

Also working on The Adams family from Chemung County New York.

Just ask and I will add any info if it is correct. I will be glad to Transfer any memorial to you as long as they are not in my direct family!

I attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and graduated with a B.S. in 2001. I then attended Georgia Southwestern State University where I recieved a B.S. in Psychology in 2004

Still searching for the graves of JOHN STUDSTILL born 1800 and died after 1850 in the Lowndes County area. Also his wife Nancy Studstill who died abt the same time and in the same area.I am looking into The Dampier family in South Georgia. I am looking hard for James W. Dampier born abt 1824 and died around 1880 in Clinch County Georgia. He was married twice and lived in Brooks County Ga for a while.

With the vast amounts of Studstill Info I have gathered I published a book in 2010 about the family. The book is called "The Shaping of a Studstill". The book is currently avaliable for the public at the Andalusia Public Library in Andalusia Alabama, Brooks County Library in Quitman Georgia, Ocmulgee Regional Library in Eastman, Randolph County Library in Cuthbert Georgia, and The Odom Family Research Center in Moultrie Georgia.

The website link below will take you to the STUDSTILL family Facebook page.

RE: s
Were you ever able to make it over to Brooks County to check out the old cemetery possibly on Studstill road? I did pass that road every time I traveled into Valdosta from home growing up.
I apologize that I did not see these messages you sent back in 2010. I am from there but I am not currently living in Georgia nor am I planning to return for a visit any time soon :(
I'm sorry that I could not help you. I do so love helping people with their family history work when I am able.
I hope you have found time to make it over there or that the owner was willing to email you some photos of the gravesites on her property. Good luck in all your family history endeavors!
Sincerely,
Hollijane

RE: Josephine Kirkland
You are most welcome. I try to take good care of the residents there. Would you like me to transfer ranson to you? If they flip that stone over, let me know and I'll get a new pic for you. It's big...or I'd have done it myself.

RE: Josephine Kirkland
I sent you a message via Josephine's memorial "suggest an edit"...I don't think his grave is unmarked anymore. I think I found it - but it's face down!

Jason, Look at the request you sent me
on him. He can't be his own father. Let
me know what you want me to do. Is he
related on the Miller side. Sara Jane
Poitevint married a Gunn.

Mary "Molly" Miller, mother of Charles S Thompson...

John Henry Miller Jr..1819 1886 &Elizabeth Thompson 1826 1863

My mother in law was a Hale/Hales from Dale Co, Alabama and moved into Seminole Co. She was highly related to the Mims, Hale(s) and had many sisters that married throughout that county. You and my husband most likely have kin in common.
