Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, I'm Julia Foote of Wellington, New Zealand. I'm researching the descendants of Robert Benjamin Foote and Thirza Richard Wills both arriving in New Plymouth, New Zealand in the 1840's. They had 10 children: James, Betsy (m Hall), Eliza (m Auckram), Thomas, Maria (m Simpson), Robert, Selina (m McDonald / Dalton), Albert, John & Martin. I am aiming to collect memorial photos of all their deceased descendants which I am happy to share with others. Please send me a message if you would like to ask any questions or share any information you may have.

Northwood cemetery request
I have sent you an email with my findings as it was a bit too complicated for a public message

RE: Daniel Fraser Foote
And my Thanks to you, too, Julia for clearing this up for me. The entry is obviously a later addition to the record, as it's entered within the Religion 'box', above and below 'C of E', and in red, "Havelock 30.7.93".
My son m. into the Auckram family., his wife's 2GGF being Thomas Alfred Auckram m.Eliza Rickard Foote sister of Thomas Andrew Foote(2GGU), father of Daniel, and 2 other sons who served WW1, as I was 'discovering' ... in the spirit of Anzac Day, after it had started my quest to find and connect all of 'our' ANZACS however related or closely attached... hence my message to you.
My shoulders sunk further each time I turned up the next son's record, finding that Raymond Andrew died of wounds, Thomas Harold was shot in the chest and medically discharged, and Daniel Fraser was gassed, and his death 45yrs later, was deemed "due to his war service in the forces"... unimaginable the anguish.
Am really pleased to have Daniel's birth day correct.
All th'best

RE: Hamama West Cemetery Takaka
Sorry Julia, no other Gledhill ones. My daughter just took pics of certain graves for me when she was in the area.
Cheers, G

RE: George Hamilton
Hi Julia,

Normally I do yes but lately have been using my smaller point & shoot camera instead of the DSLR that the photos are the big for Find A Grave, the quality of George's is fine for you to download but can email if you need it as well, 500+ photos from my 2nd stop at Kaikoura - another 1 stop some time soon should finish it off :)
