RE: Jessie Baby Isherwood
Hello. I looked in namesinstone for all Isherwood's. Only 2 come up.
http://namesinstone.com/Search.aspx

The name may be misspelled, but those are hard track down. The S plat is enormous and neither of the Isherwood's that do come up are buried in that area.

Hi
That won't be necessary. I will be going up to Salem
in the next few weeks so I will just pick it up. I have quite a few to get.
Thanks

Hello Again
Thank you. Back in the 30's there were so many burials without stones due to the poverty of the time. Lorell probably slipped through the cracks.

We have what we call a lost list of about 300 people that their obituary or death record states that they are at Laurel Grove but we have no record of them. I will add him to the list. Again, thanks

Hello Debbie
Back in 2013 you put Lorell Jackson on findagrave in the Laurel Grove Cemetery. We have no record of him being in the cemetery and I was wondering where you may have gotten that information. Our records go back to 1855 and we have an extensive collection of books, folders etc. and his name does not appear anywhere. If you have some sort of record would you please let me know so I can add it to our records. Thank You

Zoren
Hi, sorry....I was entering photos on Find A Grave and someone else had picked up your photo request for Leo Zoren but he was on the row I was working on - so added it. You might want to delete your request now that there is a photo though

You added this cemetery as well as a known burial.

I would like to photograph this cemetery, however you didn't include any directions or addresses for it.

I can not find any record of it at the county level.

Please share your record of this cemeteries existence, the address, how to get there. It if is public or on private land.

Thank you
Debbie

Hi!!
Information from the transcript of the Brant-Blackie Sub Hospital shows the baby was a stillborn birth in Blackie on October 12 1928. The family were members of the Union Church and Mrs Mary Bateman, from Brant, purchased the cemetery plot.

I hope that helps.

RE: Russell Bateman
Hi Debbie,

That is the same plot number I received - I added it to the memorial.

The cemetery is not well marked but I do have all the plot numbers so I should be able to figure out exactly where the grave is. (I photographed all the headstones in the cemetery Sunday.) There are some other Bateman's in the Blackie Cemetery and those photos are also on Find A Grave.

The next time I am in the Blackie area (I live 2 hours away) I will take a photo of the general area for you. Please do another "photo request" just to be sure I remember.

Thank you!!
Yvonne
