I'm sorry but I don't have any info on Mr. Stryker.

As creator of these two memorials, do you have any additional information on them? I believe they might be spouses, except the maiden name and year of birth is somewhat similar but not a match to the information I have found.

|Retired B. Lady||Re: Dana Smither|
Thanks for the correction - must have been day dreaming when I created it. Maurice J was the local undertaker, his daughter Kitty and I were classmates & Kathy a couple of years younger and at one time married to a family friend. No, I'm not researching, created the memorial from photograph of gravesite. Would you like a transfer? Just let me know thru the SAC tab.
|Angie Woodrum Tudor||RE: Tudor / Murphy|
Ok, I haven't researched very far on my husband's family so I am sorry to say that I don't know who Miss Emma is. I would love to talk to you some more about his family, if you wouldn't mind.

You have added photos to my father-in-law, Johnie Tudor's memorial page. I edited those original photos and added them to my personal ancestry.com page so I am assuming that is where you "found" them. However, there are pictures that you have added to his mother's page that I have never seen before. I would love to know where you came across those as well. This is my husband's grandmother but she passed well before he was born so we do not have many old photos of his family. I would also love to know how to correct a "calculated" relationship on a page that you added. Johnie's mother was Arkie but it also lists her as a sibling.
Thank you for doing such a wonderful job on so many Jessamine County families. I haven't been as active in the last few years with my genealogy and am slowly getting back into it. Having young children seems to take up most of my time...:)
Thank you so much for the transfer!
|Richard Aurand Sherer||Dosha Benedict|
First, thank you for your work in creating these memorials. It is a godsend for those of us who live far from the scene of the action.
I did want to make a slight correction about Dosha Benedict. She was married to Preston "Presley" Benedict, not Marion Wesley Benedict. Here is a link to the marriage record: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F492-7R3.
Presley Benedict was the son of Jacob Shelby Benedict and Elizabeth Camil Goode. He and Dosha were the parents of Marion Wesley Benedict. Presley was previously married to Rachel Burchell; she apparently died giving birth to their son, Thomas J., in 1863.
Dosha was the daughter of Harve Christerson and an unknown mother. She was the widow of Reuben J. "Jeff" Hardwick.
I'm going to submit the updated info to Find A Grave. You may want to remove your note on Dosha's memorial stating she was the wife of Marion Wesley Benedict. He was married to Amanda Elizabeth Mounce.

|L. A. McGriff||Oliver House Memorial|
I have no relationship to this person and have done no research on this family, I have only the info on the grave marker. I took the memorial photo in hopes of helping someone to find their family member.
Since you have requested edits to this memorial. I would be happy to transfer management to you for updating. --- Please Advise ---

Hi - thanks for the add'l info. I have a question - the Louella Noggle you indicate as William House's mother - is she the same Louella Noggle Matchett who is buried at Oak Grove? Just wanted to see if you have any more info. Thanks again, Pat

You've done a lot of fantastic work memorializing Jessamine County families and probably others, too. Your Find A Grave postings have helped me understand many family connections. One interesting thing I noticed today when looking at Joseph M. Peel #84012489 and his wife Elizabeth (Comley) Peel #84012520 is that they died a few months apart. The dates of death on their double headstone are the same as those in the Kentucky Death Index, 1911-2000, at Ancestry.com. Even though Elizabeth Peel's death occurred before Joseph Peel's death, her obituary at Find A Graves states that she was the widow of Joe Peel. I'm not related to the Peels or Comleys--just interested in Jessamine County connections. Thank you for your dedication, time, and efforts to help others.
