You're welcome. The sun came out at the right moment for the front side of that monument. The side that Anna Tarbell was on was very difficult to read, let alone photograph. There are a couple names on one other side, but now that I'm home and looking at it, they are still pretty illegible. Perhaps I can hit that when the sun is at the right angle... Happy to help, this is a nice little cemetery that's always nice to visit.

Hey John - I've set up a memorial for Reuben Peter Hains - Robert's father, and his mother, Amanda's account has been transferred over to me if you want to add them to his memorial as their parents. I'm still digging!
Robert was a Son of the American Revolutionary War which is how I was able to track the connections.
Reuben's ID: 136865663
Amanda's ID: 7864700
Thanks so much again for all the newspapers lately! I am saving the last batch for weekend coffee reading time :)
Have a great day!
Your distant cousin,

Happy to help! Keep in mind the date on the Green-Wood burial search is the date of the burial and not date of death. There are a number of reasons for the 6 month gap. The genealogy department at the cemetery can research that for you.

I'll try to find the Leander Herrick footstone--but take the photo request down. If someone else claims it, I'm blocked.

John, I finally did go back out to Holy Cross Cemetery where he is buried, & re-took the photos using a red flag. I hope this is okay with you & shows up better.

Thank you for this memorial on Findagrave and for the info you have posted there, and the references which I forwarded. You've done great work. winnie
