Please note the child (Lois d. 1901) you are showing for Francenia Bobo Keistler & her husband James William Keistler was born before either of them. Has to be an error somewhere. They didn't marry until almost 1940 per census records.

Death: Mar. 7, 2000

RE: Presley Monument
No problem. I actually had a pretty good idea of where they were due to a recient trip there. In fact, you put in your request the day after my last trip. And so it goes. God Bless.

Castles, Fairfield Co., SC
Hi Kenneth: I did contact you regarding the Concord Cemetery mix up at Chester..and I had entered some Castles, however, I had transferred them to another contributor before you asked - I would have been happy to do that for you, sorry.

I see that someone has duplicated a couple you did in March of 2011 - theirs were added later, in May 2011. Hope you get it cleared up.

RE: Concord Presbyterian Woodward Fairfield SC

I just got your message. I actually haven't added anything to the website since last year so that was back in May of 2011. Sorry for any confusion.

Concord vs. Concord Presbyterian
Hi Kenneth: I fear there are entries being made of the same people in two cemeteries, one of which someone has created in error on findagrave.

I'm sure they are one in the same, but one is "Concord Cemetery, Woodward, Fairfield, SC" [gps Lat. 34,52440, Long. -81.17000 map]

while the other is described as "Concord Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chester, Chester, SC." [NO gps co-ordinates or map shown]

Technically the cemetery sign reads "Concord Presbyterian Church, Woodward S C Organized 1796"

Problem is - the cemetery location is in Woodward, Fairfied - rather than Chester, Chester.

Two contributors added 4 names to the Chester location in 2003 & 2007, but most Castles you have entered in March of this year were already in the Fairfield County "Concord Cemetery" in February.

Problem is the wrong county location, but findagrave also needs to determine the proper name! I am not possessive of the Castles I have and am creating, in fact would be happy to transfer them - but they all need to be combined, deleted or else at least be moved to the correct location! HELP! ~Thanks, Shirleen

RE: Helen Keistler Coleman
Kenneth, I am glad to make the transfer. I had the joy of knowing both Charles and Helen Coleman for many years as their pastor. They were very dear people. Their children and grandchildren are active members of the church today.

Thank you so much, I deleted my memorial since it was a duplicate. I appreciate you photo and correction of actual burial site.

RE: Mt. Zion Baptist Church Great Falls SC

Although I added the photos for the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, I did not list the church on findagrave. Although I was familiar with the Mitford Community, I had difficulty finding the church because I was looking for a church closer to Winnsboro.

I have transferred my listings to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Mitford and added the photos of the church and cemetery. I hope the people with the 6 listings which remain at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Winnsboro will transfer their listings.

RE: Dot and Major Jordan
Thank you for your comments. I generally follow FindaGrave's written guidelines for transfers (directly related within 4 generations).

I'm always pleased to add family links. I added them to Major D. Jordan's parents. If you have them for his wife, Dorothy, please provide them to me via the Suggest a Correction link on her memorial.
