My family has been in San Buenaventura, Ventura Co., CA since 1861 when my GG Grandfather came out west from Madison Co., NY. He became the first mayor in 1866 after Ventura separated from Santa Barbara County and Ventura County was created. I have been doing genealogy of my family for a number of years. You can find my tree on ancestry.com, gencircles.com and rootsweb.com. Currently working on commorating veterans of the Civil War who were buried at St. Mary's Cemetery, Ventura, Calvary & Cieneguitas Cemeteries in Santa Barbara. I live in Carlsbad, San Diego County at present.|

Hi again Terry,
Sorry for the confusion. It is the--- Mrs. B. F. Morris---- memorial in Cambria Cemetery. It is not listed as Emmaline Morris as yet. Also it is not linked to Benjamin Franklin Morris yet, still hoping for more confirmation on things. I went ahead and declined the edits for now to change the listing .

Thanks Terry. On your edits page, click on the drop down box and click on the third choice from the bottom which is--- Edits that you have sent that are pending-----. To delete the 2 edits about Emmaline, just click the little 'x' on the right of each of them.
If this does not work, just let me know and I will go ahead and decline the edits.

Thanks very much for your edits for this memorial in Cambria Cemetery. I have very mixed feelings about whether or not to put Emmaline's name in the name field on this memorial, or to stick with the actual cemetery records in the name field. However, I have written in pretty good detail about Emmaline in the bio section, and I do feel that she that she well might, in actual fact, be buried in Cambria Cemetery and probably is buried in this plot.
I want to look into things again and think about what to do with the name field on this memorial. In the meantime, I will tweak the bio a bit to make things more clear.
I do believe that I have heard that the bio section of these Find A Grave memorials are actually Google searchable, so if that is true, Emmaline's memorial can be found, even if the name field reflects the cemetery records.
Thanks again, Terry. After you read this message, would you go ahead and remove the edits that you send for Emmaline. I don't want to just decline the edits right now, as I want to make sure that you have read this message and know my thinking on this.

Thanks for sending me the information on Refugio Hartnell. I added the info to her findagrave page and to the page I have for her on ancestry.com
I really appreciate the time you took to send me the information.
|Rita LeCrone||RE: Solomon Neideffer 1844-1882|
Thanks Terry. I did access your trees on Ancestry last night and think you have this same tombstone on 2 different Solomon's, my great-great grand father and what would be if I'm not mistaken an uncle or great uncle to this Solomon.
Will check out your rootsweb tree. Thanks again for getting back with me.

I see you are cousins to Debbie Hunt, so thus you and I must be cousins too. I am the great-great granddaughter to Solomon. I'd appreciate any help you can give me with the Neideffer family tree. I have lots of info but always more to find. Also interested in Solomon's wife, Margaret Ann Lewis if you have any info on her. We were always told Albert, Solomon and Margaret's son, was a quarter or half Indian but I've found nothing showing that.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi Terry: Links have been made. Happy to do it!
|Ron Rader||Angus Ross|
I can transfer his memorial to you if you would want me to.
|Juelette Fadness||Ralph Robbins|
Hi Terry, I made the changes you requested for Ralph Robbins. He is not a relative of mine. I transcribed that whole section of the cemetery and set up memorials for everyone. It was my summer project for 2012. Since you are his cousin, I would be happy to transfer his memorial to you. Let me know. Kind Regards, Juelette Fadness
|Gail KM||My apologies....|
....I now realize there are two Butler's buried in Potter's Cemetery, with a listing for only one on the Santa Barbara Genealogical Society website.
You are correct, Sir!
Sincerely, Gail KM
