| Bio and Links | My Genealogy - I have been interested in and have researched my family history for many years. More details on the people in some of the memorials that I maintain can be found in my WorldConnect database (females can be found using their maiden name). My specific areas of geographical interest are northwest Pennsylvania in the Venango-Mercer-Crawford Counties area, central Illinois in the Cumberland-Effingham-Jasper Counties area, and southern Illinois in the Hamilton-Wayne Counties area. Most of my ancestors were in America before 1800 and I thus have various other geographical interests spread throughout the eastern, southern, and midwestern U.S. More details on my genealogy can be found at my Website link on this profile page.
Requesting an Update/Correction - I am always happy to update any of the memorials that I manage with new or corrected info. Please use the "Suggest a Correction" (SAC) feature found by clicking on the Edit tab which is in the top right portion of the memorial page underneath the decedant's name (see here for more info). When requesting updates to the Relationship Links, please include the names and memorial #'s for the persons to be linked to. I am usually able to respond to a SAC request within a few days and update the memorial with the new/corrected info, well within the 30-day window recommended by Find A Grave.
My Transfer Philosophy - I am not a strict constructionist when it comes to the Find A Grave Transfer Guidelines and do honor most transfer of management requests. My main concern with all memorials is that they be managed properly and contain the most complete information possible, and that SAC requests for memorials are addressed in a timely manner. Although most memorial managers are very good about responding to SAC requests, there are too many times where SAC requests go unanswered (perhaps for legitmate reasons) and the Find A Grave admins have to then be burdened with intervening to fulfill the requests. The only situations where I will almost always not do transfers is for memorials where I am a descendant of, or more closely related to, the person or have some other burning desire to manage the memorial myself. I also do not honor bulk surname transfer requests. Please use the SAC feature when requesting a transfer and state your relationship to the person or other other reason for wanting to manage the memorial, and I will most likely be happy to transfer.

 | re: Ostrander's FYI - in the course of photo documenting Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery I have taken photo's of Homer, Ava, Maurice & Richard Ostrander's grave stones and have posted them to their memorials. If you do not want them there for some reason, let me know and I will delete them. I have the original of Maurice's without his spouse's name smudged out for privacy should you want a copy. | RE: John & Sarah Paxton I feel the same as you do. If we use other people's pictures we should always credit the person that took the picture. Many people on Ancestry.com must not understand this because I see many of the pictures I took myself with the credit of someone else. Perhaps it is a thoughtless thing they do, but in time perhaps we will get our message across. Are you connected to John & Sarah Paxton? They are my 2nd great grandparents through their daughter Margaret Udora Paxton-Calvert their daughter. JCI | | | Joanne Ikeda
 | John & Sarah Paxton Thank you for transferring John Paxton & wife Sarah to me. I really appreciate the extra pictures you published. Could I have permission to copy them? You took such good pictures. I appreciate. Joanne Crawford-Ikeda | | | Ann A
 | Susan Larkins Michael, I found it. I found Susan's maiden name. I had a hint on my ancestry.com acct and researched it and I am sure it is our Susan and Ridley. Her maiden name was Moore. They were married May 20, 1840 in Vigo County, Indiana. I am really excited right now. Per the 1850 & 1860 census I am showing she was born bet 1817 & 1825 in Ohio. That's all the information I have now.
