I have been interested in family history since 1978 and have enjoyed doing family research since that time. I love this website and have been adding memorials for our family. I hope, if you view any of my memorials you will contact me so I can share what ever information I might have. Some of my family memorials I have listed, not knowing the cemetery, in hopes someone who sees them may be able to tell me. I also have been adding memeorials for my daughter's in-laws family and some from the local cemeteries. So either way, I can possibly tell you something about a number of my memorials. I welcome your questions, comments, corrections etc. I have met some really nice and helpfull people through Find A Grave. It is my most sincere desire to help someone add new data to their research so plese feel free to contact me.|

|Charley Martin Edwards||RE: Edwards Family Tree|
Thanks, Rita. I understand about the move. My wife and I just recently moved also. Yes, I'll make contact again in a few months. I would love to exchange information and research farther back into my Edwards ancestors.

Hi, Just wanted to thank you for adding Lucy's obit. I wish you & your family a happy & healthy 2017! Thanks, also, for all the volunteer "work" (or maybe I should say labor of love) you do on F-A-G.

|Charley Martin Edwards||Edwards Family Tree|
Hello, Rita. My name is Charley Edwards and I have been researching my Edwards Family Tree for many years. I was recently contacted through GEDmatch.com with an Edwards relative that is a descendant of Annuel Isaac Edwards. He is on your virtual EDWARDS cemetery list. My 4th great grandfather was also named Isaac Edwards but is buried in Neshoba County, MS. Most of my relatives are from Alabama or Mississippi. My research doesn't go back much further than my Isaac (1775-1845) but is pretty much documented from that point forward. I am trying to find info on my Edwards family farther back than my Isaac of 1775. My records indicate he was born in Lunenburg, VA. Since I know I am now related to Edwards from VA, I was wondering if you or if you know a contact that may help me. I would love to look further back into my Edwards family from VA. I am on findagrave.com as member number: 47855392. I am also on ancestry.com and my userID is: cme04399. I have my DNA registered on GEDmatch.com and my kit number is: A656351. If you want to contact me, my e-mail address is: firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you, Charley

You're probably wondering why you are getting a reply from an old email but I remembered you asking about the location of the grave of her second husband. See Find A Grave Memorial# 172134296

Hello again, Rita!
I believe W.M. Bryant (in Captain John Bryant Cemetery) is William M. Bryant, the son of John Bryant and Polly farmer.
If you'll check this link to new river notes for the cemetery, you'll see they have him listed as such. He's in Row 9 at the bottom of the list.
(you may have to copy and paste the link to your address bar)
His father's memorial is # 46296624 and his mother's is # 46296672
His birth date is listed as 23 OCT 1845 and death date 2 JAN 1907.
I find him in many census records in the Sulphur Springs area near his family through 1900, which would make sense if he died in 1907.
He married Amanda Jane Delp in Carroll County on 6 SEP 1866, but I haven't been able to find a memorial for her. She may be in the same cemetery in one of the unmarked graves, I don't know.
I hope this is helpful. Happy hunting!

Your welcome. My granddaugher Melissa Thibodeaux and I did it in the rain! Melissa takes most of our photos as my 75 year old knees cannot take much more use! LOL
She and I each took a section (across the way from each other) and walked until one of us found for whom we were looking, She found many more stones than I did!

|Russ Gunther||RE: Children of Carl and Katherine Dechant|
Dave Haspert noticed these mislinks and reached out to me to confirm their correct family.
All 3 Munjor Dechant children cousins are in the family of Carl W. Dechant #50916714 (1869-1937) & Katherine Leiker Dechant #89222643 (1873or75-1955): Francis on page 36, Johannes and Anna Matilda on page 37 in the Dechant Family Geneology book compiled by Kevin Rupp and Tony Leiker.
Carl W. grew up on his parent's farm next to my great-great grandparents John Carl "Carl" & Katharina (Leiker) Dechant family farm and are listed on the same 1880 U.S. Census page.
If you are not related, I would be happy to accept transfer to care for their memorials, and update all available information for them.
Thank you much appreciated,
Russ Gunther #48350514
|A Villarreal||RE: Fred Autinrieb and family|
Rita, I am working on a family tree for my neighbor and the Autinreib are in his family. However both his parents had died when he was 14 in a car wreck. He know little about his family. Just thought if anyone knew anything about this family I could get more information for him. Thank you for your reply.
