|Pat Jones||Correction for children of Isabell Josephine "Bell" York Routh & S L Routh|
My grandmother was the daughter of Isabell Josephine "Bell" York Routh and S L Routh. Her name was Laura Francis Routh and she was married to William Larkin Kivett. She is not mentioned on Isabell's headstone and I have not looked at S L Routh to make sure shed is listed on his headstone or not. If it is not listed on their headstone here does that mean that she is not listed on the headstone at their grave either? I have been to their grave but the headstones are so old it is hard to read what is on the headstones.I'm sorry I don't know what I am thinking they don't usually list the kids names on the headstones. Is there a way that I can get a printout of the headstones of them after they have been corrected? Thank you
|Bobbye Varner||Memorial-Samuel Darcus Lambeth|
22 Aug 2016
Hello, I am researching a Varner family and discovered your memorial #58223373 at Piney Grove Methodist Church, Jackson Creek, Randolph Co., NC - Samuel Darcus Lambeth. Apparently, this is a double burial as Samuel H. Lambeth, b. ca 1852, d. bwt 1885-1900 and his wife, Darcus Elizbeth (Varner) Lambeth, b. Mar 1855 d. 25 Jul 1922 are in the same spot. Their son, Alexander is also buried at Piney Grove. Could you make another memorial to Darcus and put the tombstone picture on her memorial also? We would have the same tombstone picture but could put dates with the memorials. Let me know if you still have the picture of the tombstone and could put it on a memorial for Darcus? Thanks for all you do at Find A Grave and your help. Bobbye Varner
|Swampfox||John Urban Kennedy|
My father was John's half brother. His name was Dalton Alexander Kennedy. Jason Franklin Kennedy was father to both men.
Could you please add Dalton as John's sibling? Thank you for managing this memorial.

Where you find my great aunt's info I have been looking for it did you find the obituary for the bio?
|Barbara Howard Pointer||Oliver Scott|
Recently I received a message that you had fulfilled a request for a photo of the grave of Oliver Scott. All I saw was a tribute that you had left on his memorial, not a photo of his grave.
|Sharon A Goley Fields||RE: birthdate of 2nd greatgrandfather John Goley|
Thanks for letting me know the source. I'm still not quite sure that date is correct. Hoping to be able to make a trip back to North Carolina next year to search places I can't find on line and see if I can pin a birth date down...Sherrie Goley
|Ann Alt||your photos of headstones|
Hi Polly: Do I have your permission to post a photo to my family tree of those photos you have taken of my family members headstones?

|Sharon A Goley Fields||birthdate of 2nd greatgrandfather John Goley|
Hi Polly, thanks for putting the Goley's on find a grave. The birthdate you have for John Goley, Dec 16 1816, I can't seem to find any supporting evidence for. Did you find that date either on his grave monument or in Holly Springs Friends Cemetery records?
His parents William "Will" Gorley and Mary "Polly" Euliss Gorley were married 20 May 1819. That means that either John was born before his parents were wed or Will had a wife before Polly and that wife was John's mother. I would appreciate any information on this that you might be able to provide...thanks, Sherrie Goley Fields
