You're welcome. You can see however that the stone is flat and is almost obscured by overgrowth. I walked by it several times before realizing that was the one I wanted.

You're very welcome Kevin. Someday I hope to take that cruise up to Alaska. They say it's a fantastic trip.

Hi Kevin, Glad I could help. Cheers Tania
|Mike Berrell||Willow Grove - RALPH|
The Burial Register reads:
16 April 1924 Catherine RALPH, 73 years, 38 Delamere Road, Levenshulme. C870 NC
Even with the grave number it can be difficult to locate graves at Willow Grove because of the inadequate numbering of the marker stones.
It is on my list but I may not be in the area for some time.
I've had to leave a Public Message as you haven't given your email address.
|Juanita Welty||Helen Rose Bowyer|
Her maiden name was Hildabrand. (I'm not sure on the spelling)
I think it may mean that Sarah IS buried at Yardley Hastings but that the grave is not marked or the marker has not survived.
As for Roes, I had a look here.
I will send scans of just the 3 pages if you send me an email address or you could order the MI book from http://www.parishchest.com/Northamptonshire__LID4445

I just popped over to http://www.northants-fhs.org/ to see if they can do research for you and I found that all the burial records for Northants are on FMP. So I looked and there is a Sarah Underwood buried at Yardley Hastings who died in 1870 aged 64; she was buried on 25th May. It is listed twice if you use FMP filters, ref B0302/1178. Just because the MI book does not have an entry I guess she could still be buried there. I can send you the scans of the relevant pages if you email me.

I now have the Memorial Inscription book for Yardley Hastings and there is only one Sarah Underwood listed; the one I found on my visit. There is also a S**** [could be Susan!] Ann Underwood died Jan 17 1*70 aged 69 years (* = illegible back in 1997 when the MIs were done) on a headstone which first mentiones William Morriss died July 30 1819 aged 16. Email me if I can hep more.

Yardley Hasting is a lovely spot with some interesting things to see (I made a short video which I will put on youtube some time). I will have to see if there is an MI list anywhere. Much of the churchyard around the church is fairly clear of headstones as they have all been placed on the North side. I have removed the photos and the link.
